A few days ago, Blowfish Studio Games confirmed that its old-school shooter Gunscape will be coming to Wii U early next year. The game will allow for level sharing across platforms.

Blowfish Studio Games has since told Nintendo Everything reader Mike that Gunscape will feature “proper Wii Remote pointer controls.”

While it’s a small detail, it’s notable in a way. We haven’t seen too many shooters on Wii U these days to make use of the Wii Remote aside from the older Call of Duty games.

Zoda’s Revenge: StarTropics II hit the European Wii U eShop earlier this month. We have a few minutes of footage from the game below.

Earlier this year, EnjoyUp Games released Rock ‘N Racing Off Road on the Wii U eShop. The company is now bringing out “Rock ‘N Racing Off Road DX” in North America this week.

It’s unclear how Rock ‘N Racing Off Road DX differs from the original game. In any case, it will be available on September 17 for $7.99.

Pixel Paint has been given a new update from Two Kernel Connection. The developer has been a bit quiet about the specifics, but the patch introduces upgrades, fixes, and new features. We do now that users now have the ability to upload your artwork online.

Two Kernel Connection has also indicated that a European and Japanese release for Pixel Paint is in the cards. However, no dates have been determined just yet.

The next Elliot Quest update will launch on Tuesday, PlayEveryWare confirmed on Miiverse. This is version 1.2.6 that was announced last week.

As a reminder, Elliot Quest’s latest patch fixes more issues and unlocks some Miiverse stamps based on your save data.

The file size for Simogo and Dakko Dakko’s Wii U release Year Walk is in. In order to download the game, you’ll need nearly 400MB of free space. The game launches next week on the Wii U eShop.

Starwhal is nearing its release on Wii U. The game is heading to the North American eShop on September 24, developer Breakfall announced today.

On Wii U, Starwhal will offer a new “Blastopus” mode. You can find information on that right here.
