New Bloodstained character revealed

New information about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was revealed during Microsoft’s Gamescom 2015 media briefing. Creator Koji Igarashi took to the stage to provide a first look at a new character.
At the moment, the new character (pictured above) does not have a name. We know that he’s a demon hunter, and he fought the demons that first come to Earth during an attack that occurred ten years before the game begins. Igarashi confirmed that he’s a dual-sword wielding hero. Additionally, the character uses Japanese ofuda spells to fight enemies.

Poi Kickstarter is live, Wii U version at $80,000

Two months ago we reported on Poi, a 3D platformer in the vein of Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie. Developer PolyKid has now launched its Kickstarter campaign to fund the game. A Wii U version will be realised once the game reaches its required funding of 80,000$. Check out the Kickstarter campaign here.

Freedom Planet’s Wii U launch rescheduled to August 13

Freedom Planet was originally going to land on the Wii U eShop today. The game suffered a delay, but it sounds like it was a very minor one as it’s now rescheduled for release next week.
Developer Stevie DiDuro announced on Twitter that Freedom Planet is coming to Wii U on August 13. That’s next Thursday, so the title was only pushed back a few days.

Typoman launches on September 16

Typoman is coming to Wii U on September 16, publisher Headup Games has announced. This date applies to all major territories. You’ll be able to purchase the game via the eShop.
