Japanese support for the Wii U eShop is continuing – slowly but surely. The latest release is @SIMPLE DL Series for Wii U Vol.1 THE Escape Trick, which is due out next week for 1,000 yen. You can find a few screenshots above.

Two new Virtual Console games are on track for the Japanese Wii U eShop next week. Super Punch-Out!! (Super Famicom) and Hanjuku Hero (Famicom) will be out on April 9. Pricing is set at 823 yen and 514 yen respectively.

Namco Museum gets OFLC rating

The OFLC has rated what is likely another upcoming Game Boy Advance release on the GBA Wii U Virtual Console. Earlier today, “Namco Museum” was added to the Australian classification database. I imagine we’ll be seeing this one on the eShop sometime in the future.

With Leuvision’s Kickstarter for Twisted Fusion launching today, we caught up with creator Lewis Pugh to talk a bit more about the game.
Pugh shared more details about the Wii U eShop-exclusive, including a Kid Icarus-like difficulty system, additional weapons, enemies, and importance of the Kickstarter campaign. He also discussed the possibility of bringing Leuvision’s mobile titles to Wii U and working with the Nintendo Web Framework.
