Wii U saw a 2% market share in the UK during October

GamesIndustry published some specifics about hardware sales in the UK during the month of October. According to the site, Wii U had a two percent market share. That’s in comparison to 56 percent for the Xbox One and 42 percent for the PlayStation 4. A specific Wii U hardware figure was not shared.

Hyrule Warriors / Legends – A Link Between Worlds DLC, new updates live

Update: The DLC and updates are now live in North America.
Original: In Europe and Japan, Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends players will find new DLC and updates awaiting them. Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have released the final DLC based on A Link Between Worlds. Additionally, Hyrule Warriors is now up to version 1.12.0 while Legends is at version 1.6.0.

3DS and Wii U maintenance taking place later today

Nintendo scheduled some maintenance on rather short notice today for “certain network services” on both Wii U and 3DS. Below are the exact times:
- 5PM PT (October 31st) – 6 PM PT (October 31st)
- 8PM ET (October 31st) – 9PM ET (October 31st)
- 12AM in the UK (November 1st) – 1AM in the UK (November 1st)
- 1AM in Europe (November 1st) – 2AM in Europe (November 1st)
