Yesterday, Valhalla Game Studios announced that a PC version of Devil’s Third is in development. This won’t include the story mode featured on Wii U, though it will come with free-to-start online multiplayer.
Tomonobu Itagaki, creator of Devil’s Third, has offered up an additional tidbit of information through his Facebook page. Itagaki said that the game’s online play isn’t compatible between Wii U and PC. If you planning on picking up the game on Wii U and playing with someone who downloaded the title for PC, that unfortunately won’t be possible.
Slightly Mad Studios apologizes for Project CARS’ Wii U cancellation

Slightly Mad Studios has now issued a more lengthy statement regarding the cancellation of Project CARS on Wii U.
Creative director Andy Tudor informed GameSpot that the quality of the previously in-development Wii U version “does not meet our own high standards nor our intended vision for the title on this platform.” Tudor also reiterated that Project CARS “is simply too much for Wii U”, and the team will be interested in future hardware announcements from Nintendo.
The latest statement is as follows:
“Despite much perseverance on the Wii U version of Project Cars, we will no longer be actively pursuing development on it as the quality does not meet our own high standards nor our intended vision for the title on this platform.”
“We eagerly look forward to any announcement of further hardware from Nintendo but right now Project Cars is simply too much for Wii U despite our very best efforts. Apologies to our Nintendo fans out there that have been waiting for further news on this but we have no desire to release a product that isn’t at the very least comparable with our highest-rated versions on other platforms. We optimistically look forward therefore to what the future may hold.”

Project CARS dev – “simply too much for the Wii U”, waiting on new Nintendo hardware

Slightly Mad Studios has appeared to officially cancel plans for Project CARS on Wii U.
“The official line is that we’re awaiting an announcement from Nintendo on new hardware,” studio head Ian Bell told Nintendo Life. “As of now pCARS is simply too much for the Wii U.”
These comments seem to pretty much put an end to things. With Bell stating that the Wii U can’t handle Project CARS, I can’t see the racer being on the console at this point.

Nintendo publishing Devil’s Third in North America in Q4 2015
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 46 Comments
Nintendo has finally put all speculation about the status of Devil’s Third in North America to rest.
The company has announced that the game will be made available “in retail locations” as well as through the eShop in Q4. Nintendo will be publishing the title.
Valhalla Game Studios founder Tomonobu Itagaki said:
“Devil’s Third delivers a unique combination of shooting and melee combat to provide Wii U owners with a fresh action-oriented experience. We’ve been working hard on the game and can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it later this year.”
It’s also now been revealed that a standalone version of Devil’s Third is in the works for PC. While the Wii U game features a single-player story mode and multiplayer, the “free-to-start” version for PC only comes with “a multiplayer experience tailored for the platform.” Valhalla Game Studios will be entirely responsible for the PC release.

Razer considering support for Wii U
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 15 Comments
Razer is a company that makes a wide array of gaming products ranging from systems to controllers. Much of Razer’s support has been limited to the PC and Xbox consoles, though that could be extended to other platforms in the future – including Wii U.
When asked by a fan on Twitter about supporting Wii U, CEO Ming-Liang Tan said:
Well we're definitely considering those. So we're looking to double down support to sponsor more FGC tournaments https://t.co/lEgzs58eQJ

Razer’s products aren’t for everyone, but if they were to support Wii U, gamers could be interested in using them during tournaments like EVO. We’ll see what happens!
