More:

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an extremely open game. You can approach the world through many different means, and access areas with original approaches. One section of the map, however, does require you to enter in a specific way your first time through (and again in the future unless you warp there specifically). If you’ve played the game, chances are you know which place we’re referring to.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild has amazed us once again, as Twitter user Swiffy22 managed to come up with an ingenious way of bypassing the natural entrance. A weapon, tree log, Stasis, and the paraglider were the only things used here. Just to be extra safe with spoilers, we’ve posted the video after the break.

Nintendo Network

It was a busy week for Nintendo maintenance, and it looks like that’s carrying over into next week as well. Maintenance has already been scheduled for Switch, Wii U, and 3DS next Wednesday / Thursday.

The schedule is as follows:

– 6:45 PM PT (April 12) – 8 PM PT (April 12)
– 9:45 PM ET (April 12) – 11 PM ET (April 12)
– 2:45 AM in the UK (April 13) – 4 AM in the UK (April 13)
– 3:45 AM in Europe (April 13) – 5 AM in Europe (April 13)

As is usually the case, certain network services such as online play, rankings, etc. may be impacted while maintenance is underway.

Back in February, THQ Nordic stated that Darksiders Warmastered Edition for Wii U wasn’t cancelled – and it turns out they were right. Today, they announced that Darksiders Warmastered Edition will release for Wii U on May 23rd, 2017 worldwide. The game’s price is set at 19.99€, 14.99£ and 19.99$.

It seems like there was some incorrect info on the first print run of Breath of the Wild’s Wii U box in North America. The box falsely states that the Wii Remote, Wii Remote + Nunchuck  and Wii Remote + Classic Controller Pro would be supported by the game, when actually only the Gamepad and the Wii U Pro Controller work with it. Apparently a second print run of the Wii U version is now in circulation which fixes that error.

Star Fox

Q-Games founder Dylan Cuthbert conducted a new Reddit AMA today. As a Star Fox developer who has played an influential role in the Star Fox series, he had plenty to say about the franchise. He spoke about an old-school re-make pitched to Nintendo, working on Star Fox Command (and its endings), and his own personal ideas for a new game. Cuthbert also weighed in on Switch, Nintendo’s Game Boy title for “X” and why it never left Japan, and more.

We’ve collected a number of important responses from the Reddit AMA below. You can read the full thing right here.
