Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

The latest update for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order went live today. Version 3.0.1. is out now, accessible for all players.

Today’s update addresses a bug in which players may have been unable to add additional controllers in multiplayer. Nintendo says that other issues have also been addressed.

Note that you’ll need the latest update to play multiplayer with anyone already on version 3.0.1.

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] will be out for Switch on February 20 in North America and February 21 in Europe.

Panty Party

Cosen today provided an update on the new online and local multiplayer functionality for Panty Party. The two features will arrive via an update on February 6, the company announced.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is out now on the Switch eShop, listed at $19.99. This is a standalone single-player component for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game that was originally introduced in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The official teaser website for Umihara Kawase Bazooka!! opened today, confirming a new launch window. A release is planned for this “spring to summer”, publisher Success Corporation and developer Studio Saizensen announced.

The 11th Maximus Cup will soon be hosted in Tetris 99, Nintendo has announced.

Players will be tasked with competing online and stacking up as many event points as possible. The top 999 players with the most points will be given 999 Gold Points to use on My Nintendo. Nintendo says event points awarded based on rank achieved in each battle you compete in during the event.

Tetris 99 will host its 11th Maximus Cup between January 30 at 11 PM PT and February 3 at 10:59 PM PT.

Versus Evil issued a new trailer for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition, which is slated for a 2020 release on Switch. You can view it below.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection was originally planned for January 21. However, Capcom ended up announcing a delay, and it will now ship on February 25 instead.

Capcom producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya spoke about the delay in an interview with Siliconera. Additionally, Tsuchiya touched on the fan response and how the related video was suggested by Capcom USA.

Atelier Ryza

Koei Tecmo announced today that Atelier Ryza sold 190,000 copies worldwide in the December quarter. Since launch, it has moved over 350,000 units in total.

Atelier Sophie is currently the series’ best-selling entry at 370,000 units, but that’s expected to change soon. Koei Tecmo said that Atelier Ryza “will probably be the best-hit Atelier game”.

The Wall Street Journal reports that “Koei Tecmo has boosted efforts to sell more of its games outside Japan on various platforms” in order to maximize sales.
