Switch

Curve Digital announced today that it has signed a deal with Gaumont to create a game based on the television series Narcos. It’ll be released on Switch in Spring 2019.

Here’s an overview of the show in case you haven’t heard about it previously:

Last year, Magnus Games was able to successfully fund its new game Re:Legend through Kickstarter. 505 Games has now announced it will publish the title on Switch later this year.

Re:Legend is a mashup of RPG mechanics and simulation gameplay that combines farming and life-simulation mechanics with monster-raising and multiplayer features. We have furhter information below.

Over on Amazon Japan, the official Japanese boxart for Ys VIII Switch has been posted. You can get a look at the packaging image above.

Nintendo Labo

New Nintendo Labo hands-on videos from Japan and North America were shared by Nintendo last night. We also have one from Nintendo UK now as well, which you can see below.

Aside from the new commercial we shared earlier today, Level-5 has also posted the boxart for The Snack World: Trejarers Gold. We have that above.

ARIA released the first trailer for its love visual novel for Switch, Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai: Library Party. Get a look at the video below.

A new Japanese TV spot has been released for The Snack World: Trejarers Gold. You can check it out below.

Inti Creates has prepared yet another Japanese video for Gal*Gun 2. Check out the game’s third trailer below.

Update: If you’re interested in seeing what the reward is, head past the break (thanks m_t).

Original: With Super Mario Odyssey version 1.2.0, it was rumored that new Hint Art was included in the game’s files. That turned out to be true – just not in the way we were expecting.

Nintendo just shared the first piece of Hint Art that had been leaked on its Twitter account. We don’t know the reward yet, but Nintendo says “you’ll get something good”. We almost certain it’s not a Power Moon, however.

Note that you’ll need version 1.2.0 installed in order to obtain the reward.

We previously reported on Nintendo Labo’s Toy-Con Garage, which allows for rudimentary programming so that you can create your own projects. Nintendo now shows this off for the first time in the video below.
