Yet another character trailer for Genei Ibun Roku #FE is here – this time for Tsubasa! You can check out the trailer below, which adds to evergrowing cast of the Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem crossover.

Footage has come in showing all of the new Event Courses in Super Mario Maker. In the first video below, you can see the initial levels uploaded yesterday. The second one features Mario Kun.

Super Mario Maker has added another new level in Event Courses following yesterday’s update. As of now, players around the world can take on the “Super Mario Kun 25th Anniversary” course. Completing it nets you the related costume, pictured above.

Yukio Sawada, creator of the Super Mario Kun manga series, created the level. The first half contains an anniversary message, but towards the end, you’ll encounter plenty of enemies.

Nintendo may have addressed a number of Super Mario Maker glitches with yesterday’s update, but it also introduced a new one. Players are now using checkpoints to take advantage of another bug of sorts. Take a look at the video below for the full rundown.

The Play Nintendo YouTube page has kicked off a new Yoshi’s Woolly World “Adventure Guide”. The first episode, published today, can be seen below.

USGamer recently caught up with Super Mario Maker producer Takashi Tezuka and co-directors Yosuke Oshino and Yoshikazu Yamashita. Much of the discussion focused on the game’s brand new update. Topics include how the checkpoint system came about, whether or not we’ll see other updates in the future, and the possibility of extending the “Maker” idea to other series/concepts.

Super Mario Maker’s new update introduced some new features and functionality. But it also looks like it removed a number of glitches.

Those are as follows:

– There’s no longer permanent invulnerability triggered by entering doors on the last invulnerability frame after taking damage
– Super Mario World Trampolines no longer allow higher jumps when holding an item
– Invisible platforms created with Cloud Blocks and Hidden Question Blocks have been fixed

Update: Seems like Nintendo got their dates mixed up a bit. The weapon will be available 24 hours later than initially announced, so Saturday morning in Japan, Saturday night in Europe and Friday evening in North America.

 

The next free weapon will be added to Splatoon at the usual times today / tomorrow (morning in Japan, nighttime in Europe and evening in North America): the Heavy Splatling Deco is a variant of the Heavy Splatling with Point Sensors and the Kraken special.
