For the latest Fire Emblem Engage character introduction, we get to hear about Lyn, one of the classic heroes players can summon in the game. Per usual, information was posted on the Japanese Twitter account, and Serenes Forest has shared translations.
Lyn, who is voiced by Makiko Ohmoto in the Japanese version, is known as the Emblem of Blazing. She’s a nomad who lives in harmony with mother nature, and a skilled swordsman. Lyn comes from the continent of Elibe from another world, and is a noblewoman related to the Marquess of Caelin.
Lyn is able to win in battle through merciless onslaughts that give foes no chance to counterattack. The character excels at both close-ranged assaults and sniping from a distance, which means she’s ideal for units with heavy firepower.
Here’s some information about her skills:
Emblem Lyn’s Sync skill “Desperation” allows you to perform a follow-up attack before the foe counterattacks, provided your Speed is much higher than theirs. This lets you defeat enemies without taking damage from counterattacks
Emblem Lyn’s Engage weapon “Killer Bow” makes it easier to deal critical hits.
Emblem Lyn’s Engage skill “Call Doubles” summons 4 clones around you, which can act as decoys. Also, when you attack, they will always trigger Chain Attacks from any location.
Emblem Lyn’s Engage Attack “Astra Storm” deals 5 consecutive attacks from a long distance, without retaliation. When used by a “Covert” type unit, its range is increased by 10 squares. [Range 10, deals 30% damage x5 with bow; Covert Range +10]
