Just as you would expect, fishing is back in Pokemon X/Y. The latest episode of Pokemon Smash showed the feature during a gameplay segment. Octillery was caught at one point, and later in the footage, the player went surfing on the Pokemon with a standard shadow. The video went on to show Inkay on an island.
Here’s a bit of a surprise: Sin and Punishment developer Treasure is developing Gaist Crusher for Capcom. That’s according to an image posted to the studio’s website.
We originally heard that Treasure was making a 3DS game last October through a GamesTM interview. Is Gaist Crusher the title that had been referred to?
Capcom announced a new Strider game during a Comic-Con panel this week. There was initially some confusion about the game coming to Wii U, as someone who was live-tweeting from the event said that it would indeed head to Nintendo’s console.
As it turns out, the official announcement confirmed that a Wii U version isn’t in the works. But that doesn’t mean Strider has been completely ruled out for the system. The same person who live-tweeted from Capcom’s presentation caught up with developer Double Helix following the panel and was told that the game could be ported over “if there’s a demand for it.”
For now, if you’re interested in the new Strider, you’ll need to settle for another platform – PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, or PC.
Minna no Oshaberi Chat is the new 3DS eShop chat app coming to Japan next week. You can find details here.
Yesterday we heard that Shin’en intends to reveal its next Wii U games this fall. A tweet sent out by the studio a few days ago reconfirms this news, and also gives a vague release window for both titles.
Shin’en’s next game will be out later this year. The other will be available in 2014. Shin’em also appears to be considering a 3DS port for at least one of the projects.
Shin’en’s tweet is as follows:
@MrValtor We plan to reveal our new titles this autumn. 1 game is slated for end of the year and 1 for next year. Perhaps also a 3DS port.

Thanks to Mr. Valtor for the tip.
