Most of the time, a trailer is a sneak peek of an audiovisual work – a way in which companies can show us some nice bits from a game or a movie to convince us that they deserve our money. As soon as we get our hands on the final product, we usually don’t go back to trailers considering that they are just a small part of the whole.

However, there are moments in which a trailer can actually be remembered – when it is so well-made that people frequently go back to rewatch it! In the video below you can see my “analysis” while rewatching the Zelda: Breath of the Wild trailer from the Nintendo Switch Presentation in 2017. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is almost here, and those that want a closer look can find new gameplay from the Switch version. 45 minutes of footage has been released ahead of the impending launch.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns has released its latest character trailer with a look at the Hunter. She was a demi-goddess of evil that actually died at one point, but has been resurrected.

Original (8/26): The key creators behind the Wild Arms series and Shadow Hearts series have just announced a “Double Kickstarter” campaign intended to bring Armed Fantasia and Penny Blood to life. These are two new, large scale JRPGs inspired by their previous games.

Armed Fantasia features a dramatic story about a group of Pathfinders and their trusted ARMs who embark on a perilous journey across an expansive Westernpunk world hurtling towards destruction. Akifumi Kaneko, creator of the Wild Arms series, will be in charge of lead game design and scenario writing. Tomomi Sasaki is handling character design. Lastly, music is planned to be made by Michiko Naruke, Noriyasu Uematsu and Elements Garden, also veterans of the Wild Arms series.

Ubisoft has just announced that the original Mario + Rabbids game, Kingdom Battle, has been played by over 10 million people. This news comes in celebration of the game’s fifth anniversary, only a few months before the launch of its sequel, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

Additionally, Ubisoft have also shared an interview with the game’s Creative Director Davide Soliani, Lead Producer Xavier Manzanares, and Associate Producer Cristina Nava which covers the transition they went through in beginning work on Mario +Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

Nintendo has just provided some updated information on several of their Switch million seller titles via CESA 2022. As such, we’ve got some new sales figures for a few of these titles.

Note that this list is accurate as of December 2021, so it is a bit dated. However, it contains updated figures for titles such as Super Mario 3D All-Stars, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Bayonetta 2, which haven’t received any sales updates in quite a while.

NHRA Championship Drag Racing: Speed for All just arrived on Switch a few days ago, and lots of gameplay has come in showing the final product. A 26-minute video has been published with footage.

Here’s some information about the game: 

Cygnus Entertainment has just announced that their latest adventure game Colossal Cave will be making its way to Switch. The game is set to release later this year.

Colossal Cave is a reimagining of the classic 1977 text-based adventure game Colossal Cave Adventure, and is being developed in collaboration with Roberta Williams, the designer of well-known titles such as King’s Quest and Phantasmagoria.

We have yet another character trailer for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R with a look at Trish Una. In battle, she uses the Stand known as Spice Girl.
