Ysbryd Games and Glitch Factory have shared a launch trailer for No Place for Bravery. Rather than containing gameplay, the video is entirely animated.

We have the following overview for No Place for Bravery:

Project Winter, the eight person social deception survival game, has released a free content update on Switch.

Starting today, players can access new craftable items. These include Smoke Bombs, “chilling explosives not only create a poof of smoke to obscure vision but also rapidly reduce survivors’ warmth.” Also included are the show shoes that eliminate traces of footprints and the loud crunch of snow-steps while also providing increased movement speed for a short time. Finally, the Sound Emitter sends out audio clips over a short amount of time and a very long distance before eventually self-destructing.

That’s actually not all, as UI changes, the removal of the ability to see characters who voted in the exile booth, increased max number of roles in matches, quality of life improvements, and more are included. You can find the full patch notes for today’s Project Winter update below.

Limited Run Games today announced plans to produce a physical version of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm on Switch.

Only a standard copy will be available. However, Limited Run is also planning the Oceanhorn fan bundle, which includes a copy of Oceanhorn and Oceanhorn 2 in an Arcadian slipcase (also available separately).

Original: Those that intend to play Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope when it launches on Switch next month will apparently need to a Ubisoft account in order to play. That information comes straight from the official Ubisoft Support Twitter account.

Twitter user mattybicky asked if a Ubisoft Connect account is required for the game. In response, Ubisoft Support said “you will need to associate your Ubisoft account with the Nintendo one or, if you don’t have a Ubisoft account, to create one.”

Citizen Sleeper will roll out its next free episode titled Refuge, publisher Fellow Traveller and developer Jump Over the Age announced today. All players can access it starting on October 27, 2022.

Refuge has players entering the flotilla and learning about what happened on the moons of Ember with Sol, captain of the Pilgrim’s Seed. Read a bit more about it below.

As part of our recent hands-on session with Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, we have brand new gameplay for the Beacon Beach and Pristine Peak locations. Nearly 40 minutes of direct-feed footage is available.

The first teaser trailer for the Super Mario Bros. animated movie will be shown at New York Comic Con, it’s been announced.

Those attending the expo will be able to see the video on October 6 at 4 PM. Presumably the video will be posted online later on – if not the same day, it should be live not too long after that.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle was one the plucky plumber’s most unexpected and off-the-wall adventures in a long time when it released in 2017; it quickly became one of my favorite games on the Switch thanks to its simple but satisfying tactics and its delightfully quirky vibes. I was excited to have the opportunity to play its upcoming sequel, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, for nearly four hours at a recent Ubisoft preview event, where I experienced large chunks of the game’s combat, exploration, and story across a handful of different in-game planets. So far, what I’ve played of Sparks of Hope has me feeling confident that the game will be a substantial evolution of everything that made Kingdom Battle so special, and it seems poised to be Mario’s most memorable adventure in quite a while.

Dangen Entertainment and Future Cat have shared a launch trailer for OneShot: World Machine Edition. The title, a puzzle adventure experience, lands on Switch today.

Stingbot Games today announced that Soul Survivors, a dark fantasy time-survival roguelite, is in the works for Switch. The title is initially launching in Q1 2023 on PC via Steam Early Access, and it’ll be out on Nintendo’s console after.
