Today, Sunsoft announced that it’s teaming up with Gravity Game Arise on Hashire Hebereke: EX. The game, which is developed by CRT Games, arrives on Switch in 2025.

Hashire Hebereke: EX is a remake of the 1994 Super Famicom title. This is a racer featuring various characters and tracks. For the remake, the game will add a time attack mode, new characters, and new stages. Support will also be available for online multiplayer with up to four players. As of now no further details are available, and we’re waiting on a trailer which should come at a later date.

Hashire Hebereke never left Japan, but it seems that the new EX version will be launching worldwide. We’ll keep you updated as we hear more about the release in the months to come.

Publisher Devolver Digital, along with Olija developer Skeleton Crew Studio, just announced Forestrike. The game is now in development for Switch.

Forestrike is a tactical kung fu game, but as an extra feature, there’s a supernatural twist. Players will use a foresight ability to visualize fights before they happen and hone their skills then battle in reality. If you lose, you’ll start over – albeit with permanent progress.
