Konami has just announced a release date for Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale!! Let’s Go! Go Rush!! which was announced last month. The game will release December 1, 2022 in Japan.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale!! Let’s Go! Go Rush!! is the follow-up to Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale!!, a game that released internationally last year based on Yu-Gi-Oh!’s new Rush Duel format. This new title will presumably be based around the show’s latest series, Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!, which began airing in Japan earlier this year.

Koei Tecmo have announced today on Twitter that Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has now shipped over 1 million units worldwide. This number includes both retail shipments and digital sales, although no regional breakdown has been provided, so we don’t know where the game has been most popular.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 recently released on Switch to pretty positive reception. Unfortunately, a bug capable of corrupting save data has been found in the game.

The bug does seem relatively uncommon at least. For it to trigger, you’d need to delete a save file from the file select screen, then change your settings or language options from the title screen. Then, starting a new game in that deleted slot and either saving manually or auto-saving will corrupt that save slot.

Thankfully, Inti Creates is aware of this issue and is working to resolve it. Here is a statement from them detailing the issue and how to avoid it:

This week’s Famitsu review scores are as follows:

Bandai Namco previously confirmed the title for a worldwide release. However, it appears to be digital-only in North America and Europe. With the Asian version, fans can add SD Gundam Battle Alliance to their physical collection and play through the whole thing in English.

We had an inkling (get it?) that some big Splatoon 3 news was right around the corner, and indeed, last week Nintendo gave the game a dedicated 30-minute Direct showcasing a TON of details about its new modes, quality-of-life features, characters , and more. Join your hosts Nick, Nicolas, Dennis and Luiz (yes, everyone is here!) as they finely comb through all the juicy reveals from the presentation. After that, they’ll discuss two new Switch games that were highlighted in a recent THQ showcase, including the glorious return of 3D SpongeBob SquarePants platformers. Stick around in the back half the show for even more conversation about all the week’s biggest news!

Our show is available on most major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music and Audible, or you can check out the video version on Youtube below. Direct downloads are also now available for free through our friends at ListenNotes.

Accessibility has become a more prominent topic in the gaming industry, and we’ve seen Microsoft in particular make a push with initiatives like its adaptive controller. Interestingly, there were plans – at least at one point – for a new kind of controller that would work across Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation hardware.

Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime shared that news in an interview with Inverse. He said the Xbox adaptive controller was being used “as a jumping-off point to create something that would be platform-agnostic and adaptable by any consumer.” The Nintendo / Xbox / PlayStation controller was happening three years ago, though Reggie isn’t sure if it’s still in development.

Nintendo has updated the Japanese release schedule on its platforms for the week of August 25, 2022. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:
