People love gaming crossovers – there’s something very satisfying about seeing characters interact from several beloved franchises. Games such as Super Smash Bros. are extremely popular due to this because Nintendo has some of the most iconic characters in the game industry. The company constantly leverages this popularity to feature their characters in other crossovers as well, including merchandise.

Nintendo has created merchandise with some of the biggest brands in various industries (such as apparel, food, and toys), and there is a lot out there to sift through. Luckily, we’ve pinpointed the biggest brands that the Big N has partnered with, and created a list of the top ten crossovers that can be bought today. Original (8/18): City Connection, in partnership with Cave, has announced that Akai Katana Shin is appearing on Switch on December 15, 2022. English, Japanese, French, and Spanish language options are planned.

Those in Japan will be able to pick up the standard digital edition for 3,410 yen or standard physical edition for 4,400 yen. Also planned is a physical special edition will for 6,600 yen, featuring the Akai Katana Daisuke Matsumoto Arrange soundtrack CD and an instruction card-style acrylic panel.

Team17 and OverBorder Studio have sent out a new trailer for Thymesia. This week, it was released on Switch as the latest cloud title on the console.

With five years between the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3, we’ve had plenty of time to devote ourselves to the world of Alrest and pick apart the differences and similarities between it and the world of the original Xenoblade Chronicles. With the Definitive Edition hitting Switch a mere couple of years ago, we’ve had the series fairly fresh on our minds while waiting for the next release. With side content like Torna: The Golden Country from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the Future Connected content from Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, there has been a lot to take in before getting to 3 – and that’s not counting those of us who also spent time with the stranded-on-Wii U entry of Xenoblade Chronicles X (a completely unrelated story, but with similar gameplay and an unconnected world.)

To celebrate the arrival of Lair Land Story on Switch, PQube and Circle Entertainment have shared a launch trailer. The fantasy raising-simulator made it to Nintendo’s console to close out the week.

Original (8/17): Retailer listings have outed River City Girls 1 & 2 for release on Switch in Japan. It will be available on December 1, 2022.
