We’ve previously gone over the many delays Toy Soldiers HD has experienced since the game was first made known a couple of years ago. Initially, it was on track to launch in Spring 2020, but was delayed to 2021. Then when it was planned for last August, the game was moved back to September 9. After being given a new September 30 date, Accelerate Games delayed the Switch version indefinitely.

Toy Soldiers HD received a new August release date on Switch earlier this month and we were hoping that would be the end of the delays. Unfortunately though, it’s been pushed back once again.

Accelerate Games said in a statement:

Publisher Curve Games and developer Pixadome announced today that Chenso Club, a side-scrolling rouguelike brawler, will soon be making its way to Switch. The title is due out on September 1, 2022.

The team behind Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has spoken about the character designs in the game, which was apparently “a hellish process of trial and error.”

Monolith Soft’s Tetsuya Takahashi said in a recent interview that the characters were made taller and they were designed “to be not too flashy to match the tone of the story.” Coming up with the look for Noah in particular was no easy task.

Oink Games has announced that it will add two more board games to Let’s Play! Oink Games on Switch with Fafnir and Scout. The two will go live this fall and this winter respectively. Fafnir will be distributed as a free update, though Scout is planned as paid DLC.

A couple of additional elements about the new 1.2.0 update for Nintendo Switch Sports have been revealed, as new collections have been datamined and it’s been discovered that Mii CPUs have been added to offline modes.

Players are able to earn points after matches when playing online. With every 100 points, they can redeem them for an item from a themed collection of their choosing. Items can include hair styles, headgear, and more. Collections rotate every week.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 was recently confirmed, and first details have now been revealed. Japanese magazine Famitsu has the early scoop as to what can be expected from the game.
