Posted 3 months ago by in News, Switch | 0 comments

Tomba 2 is on the way to Switch, Limited Run Games has announced. A release window was not provided.

This follows the original title which is set to appear on Switch this August (read more about that here). As for the sequel, Tomba 2: The Evil Swine Return debuted in 1999 in Japan and 2000 in the west for the original PlayStation.

Here’s a brief overview:

Gex Trilogy, which was previously announced for Switch last year, just resurfaced. A trailer for the game was shown during LRG3 2024.

Gex Trilogy will not only include multiple games, but some new features like the ability to rewind and save at any point. Here’s the official description:

After it originally released on the PlayStation many years ago, Fear Effect is now making a comeback on Switch. The game heads to the console in 2025.

Kronos Digital Entertainment was the original developer of Fear Effect, which initially came to the PlayStation in 2000. The game never appeared on a Nintendo platform previously.

For a brief rundown, check out the following overview:

Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal, which was previously sold digitally on Switch, is now getting the physical treatment. Limited Run Games will offer it later in 2024.

Feral Interactive originally brought Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal to the eShop earlier this year. You can read more about it below.

According to Limited Run Games, the company is planning a physical release of Toxic Crusaders. It’ll be going live on the company’s website later in 2024.

Toxic Crusaders has still yet to launch in any form. The title is currently targeting its arrival for 2024, though more specific timing hasn’t  been shared.

Another one of today’s Switch physical release announcements from Limited Run Games is G.I. Joe: The Wrath of Cobra. It will be available in 2025.

Physical announcement are often made after a game launches, but that isn’t the case here. We’re actually waiting to find out when G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra will be available at all – it’s not ready just yet, but it’ll likely end up on the eShop before the boxed edition.
