Today, publisher Serenity Forge and developer Way Down Deep announced that they’re putting Date Night Bowling on Switch. The game will be available on November 26.

Bowling is naturally the focus here, but that’s not all. The game’s premise is that you’re at the local bowling alley for a dating event. You’ll strike up a conversation, check out the bowling lanes, and try to make a good first impression. Aside from bowling skills, you’ll try to win over your date “on your ability to tell well-timed jokes, throw popcorn into their mouth, give the perfect shoulder rub, and more”.

With Atlus having just lifted the embargo for Shin Megami Tensei V, we’ve gone ahead and rounded up some of the early reviews.

The RPG is a bit of landmark title as fans have been waiting quite a long time for its release. Atlus first announced Shin Megami Tensei V during the unveiling of the Switch way back in January 2017. Now in just a few days, fans around the world will be able to go through the entire experience. It follows the 2013 game Shin Megami Tensei IV, though we also saw the sequel Shin Megami Tensei IV apocalypse in 2016.

Shin Megami Tensei V is still a few days away on Switch, but if you’re looking for an early look, we have you covered with new gameplay. We have 30 minutes of footage from the final English build in English.

Here’s some additional information about the RPG:

System: Switch
Release date: November 12, 2021
Developer: Atlus
Publisher: Atlus

Shin Megami Tensei’s illustrious history has been unparalleled since its debut in the 90s. It has since grown and evolved, though the changes mostly come from the detailed environments that captivate and immerse you just as much as the narrative. These games constantly highlight the question of morality and philosophy, what’s right and wrong, and good versus evil. It’s hard to believe now that Shin Megami Tensei V is finally here and real, almost five whole years since its announcement prior to Switch seeing its launch. What’s not so hard to believe (or maybe it is, depending on how you look at it) is that the game has not only been worth the wait, but it’s also an exceptional new JRPG.
