Thousands of games are currently available on Switch, and there are a ton of demos out there for many of them. Not just Nintendo, but also third-parties are offering demos. We’ve now put together a comprehensive list of what’s out there.

Since our reader base is English-speaking, that’s what we’re focusing on here. In other words, we’re highlighting Switch demos that you can find in North America and Europe. Japan has a few extra demos on its end, but a majority of them are for titles that are not currently being sold in the west and are only playable in Japanese.

Thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, Food Devils is planned for release on not only Switch, but Switch 2 as well.

The strategy RPG roguelike, which is inspired by games such as Fire Emblem and Darkest Dungeon, reached its funding target in only 72 hours. The total is well over $50,000 and a console stretch goal was recently met. Studio Daimon tells us that the project is targeting Switch, but also that system’s successor.

Writing a review for a game like Animal Well is difficult, because with each new piece of information you’re given it lessens the experience: it’s one less discovery that you can make for yourself, one less light-bulb moment of pure satisfaction you’ll get from correctly interpreting what the game is subtly guiding you towards doing without you even realizing it until after you try something and, miraculously, it works. My experience with the game was made up of these moments, one after another, in almost every room I entered. It’s a highly rewarding experience, and I don’t want to ruin any of it for those who are even remotely curious about picking this game up. But I’ll try and give you a brief overview and reason enough to give into that curiosity, because it might just be one of the best gaming choices that you make this year.

ININ Games and Taito revealed their latest collaboration today, which will see Taito Milestones 3 launch exclusively on Switch. A release is planned for Winter 2024.

Taito Milestones 3 features another set of classic games in a single package. Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands: The Story of Bubble Bobble 2, Rastan Saga, Cadash, Champion Wrestler, Runark, and Thunder Fox have been confirmed thus far. More titles will be announced later. We’ve compiled a list outlining ten of the best Shiny Pokemon of all time. Before we begin, do keep in mind that this isn’t an objective list. There are far more than ten out there there, so we won’t be able to cover all of the great shinies on this list alone.

Shiny Pokemon were first introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver, and since then they’ve been sort of hit-or-miss. For every great-looking Shiny coloration, there’s another one out there that’s incredibly disappointing (we’re looking at you, Ceruledge).
