GungHo Online Entertainment published the third developer diary for Ninjala today. Below, GungHo boss Kazuki Morishita and director Motoki Kaneda discuss the game’s season pass, update schedule, and how players can power up their characters.

Ninjala will host an open beta next week, and we have more information about that here. The full game launches on May 27.

Ratalakia Games will publish Ritual Games’ arcade-style shoot ’em up Gun Crazy on Switch next week, the company has announced. It’ll be available via the eShop starting May 1.

Cowcat has announced that Demon’s Tier+, a dungeon-RPG roguelike with arcade and adventure elements, is on the way to Switch. This redone version of the PC original will include a number of gameplay improvements.

During an interview with Panzer Dragoon World, Panzer Dragoon: Remake co-producer Benjamin Anseaume detailed a new 1.3 update for the Switch game. It’s been confirmed that the patch will include an option to enable 60 frames per second, HD Rumble, and more.

Netflix has nabbed the rights to Pokemon Journeys: The Series, The Pokemon Company announced today. The anime will debut on June 12 in the west. More episodes will be added quarterly for the duration of the season.

During a live stream today, Hamster announced another round of Arcade Archives games for Switch. Burger Time, Burnin’ Rubber, Trio the Punch, and Darwin 4078 are now confirmed for a release on the eShop.

These are just a few of the games Hamster is preparing. Other titles were previously announced, including Sunset Riders, Gemini Wing, and VS. Wrecking Crew.

Hamster recently warned that there could be changes in the development schedule for Arcade Archives. CERO, Japan’s ratings agency, has temporarily closed due to the coronavirus, so some titles may not be able to receive their proper classifications. We usually receive at least one day’s notice about weekly Arcade Archives releases, but some games may not be announced in advance.

Publisher The Irregular Corporation and developer Auroch Digital have announced that they’re bringing the strategy simulation game Mars Horizon to Switch. It’ll be out later in 2020 via the eShop.

Publisher Merge Games and developer Infuse Studio today announced that Spirit of the North, the exploration-puzzle adventure game, will release on Switch on May 7. It will be sold digitally via the eShop, though Signature Edition Games should also be offering a physical version.

Bandai Namco shared the latest trailer for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions. Below, fans can get a look at the German Junior Youth team.

German Junior Youth is led by Schneider. Bandai Namco says that the team is capable at both offense and defense.
