Update 2: The Pokemon Sword/Shield Double Pack is now live on Amazon.

Update: The Pokemon Sword/Shield Double Pack is now up for pre-order on GameStop here.

Original: Best Buy has opened pre-orders for the newly-announced Pokemon Sword/Shield Double Pack. You can pre-order it here. Note that if you’re a My Best Buy member, you’ll receive a $10 reward certificate after the release.

A few days ago, a bunch of placeholder listings for Switch were spotted in GameStop’s internal database. The thought was that those were added to prepare for E3 and upcoming announcements as pre-orders will soon be opening. Now we’re seeing something similar from Amazon UK that are actually visible online.

Amazon UK now has about a dozen “dummy” placeholders from Nintendo. There’s even a 3DS listing oddly enough as well as one for a Switch console (which isn’t necessarily indicative of brand new hardware) and a couple of accessories. Ubisoft, Bandai Namco, and Warner Bros. Interactive have Switch placeholders as well.

You can view all of these listings on Amazon UK here. Just keep in mind there’s a chance they could be taken offline.

More:

A Pokemon Direct aired earlier today, treating fans to all sorts of details about Pokemon Sword/Shield. Interestingly, some of that information may have leaked a couple of leaks ago without many people initially noticing.

A thread posted on 4Chan contains a mix of what was covered in today’s presentation as well as details not yet confirmed. This person accurately named Hop as your rival, researcher Sonia being the granddaughter of Sword and Shield’s professor, and Wooloo. The Dynamaxing mechanic and raids were also brought up, along with accurately describing the new Legendary Pokemon and how the Wild Area plays out.

As for what hasn’t been announced yet, the leaker claims the following is in Pokemon Sword/Shield:

It’s been announced that the “deep, monster catching RPG” Siralim 3 is coming to Switch on July 5. You’ll be able to find it on the eShop for $14.99.

Here’s an overview of the game:

The pirate adventure game Nelly Cootalot: The Fowl Fleet will appearing on Switch next month, Application Systems has announced. A release is planned on the eShop for July 11.

Here’s an overview of the title, along with a trailer:

GungHo Online Entertainment has finally provided an update on Grandia HD Collection. Despite the relative silence since the original announcement last August, the company says it will be “coming soon.”

Here’s an overview of Grandia HD Collection with the latest details:

SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated has received a listing on Steam that provides additional information about the game.

Here’s the full overview:

Rocket League players on Switch can now access the game’s latest update. Psyonix has issued version 1.63, which will show on your system as version 1.2.0.

The full patch notes are as follows:

Earlier today, THQ Nordic announced SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated. The remake of the 2003 GameCube title launches in 2020.

Unfortunately, THQ Nordic hasn’t shared much in the way of details. One thing we do know, however, is that a new multiplayer mode will be included.

The izneo app – featuring comics, manga, graphic novels, and more – will be receiving its first update this month. When the patch goes live, touch functionality will be supported, alongside fixes and optimizations. The team is also looking to increase content that can be read in English.

Touch functionality will extend to turning pages, zooming, and changing the reading mode. Users can also look forward to a smoother reading experience, the ability to download multiple books at once, and bug fixes that eliminate crashes.
