If you’ve been keeping up with the Tetris 99 news we’ve been posting over the past couple of months, then you probably knew that additional DLC is in the pipeline that will let players “enjoy playing with their family and friends offline.” In fact, those were the exact words used by producer Akira Kinashi.
Reconfirming that news, Nintendo has now added a listing to the eShop with news about the DLC. Once again, there will be a “new mode that lets you play offline with your family and friends.” It will be available sometime before the end of 2019.

Yacht Club Games has provided a sales update on Shovel Knight. Since launch, the game has sold 2.5 million copies. That news was announced in celebration of Shovel Knight’s fifth anniversary.
As fans know, there’s still a bit of Shovel Knight content on the way. Yacht Club Games will release Shovel Knight Showdown and King of Cards in the near future.
NPD has shared an expanded listing of the best-selling games on Switch life-to-date in the United States. We now have the top ten, which is perhaps unsurprisingly topped by Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. There’s also one third-party title on the list thanks to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

Avalanche Software will always be known for its work on the Disney Infinity series. Prior to that franchise, however, the studio also put out another Disney-related game: Toy Story 3. While working on that project, Avalanche was cooking up something alongside it.
Kotaku has unearthed details about the cancelled project known internally as Star Command. In it, the cast of Toy Story would head to space and help toys from all over the galaxy.

Amazon Spain has opened pre-orders the newly-announced Daemon X Machina Orbital Limited Edition. If interested, you can reserve it here. Note that there is no U.S. shipping, unfortunately.
The Daemon X Machina Orbital Limited Edition contains the game, an 18cm-tall Arsenal statue, a 100-page artbook, a steelbook, and a hangar-style box with a compartment in which the Arsenal statue can be displayed.
