According to listings on the European and Australian eShops, Ms. Splosion Man is coming to Switch. Better yet, it’s due out in just a few days.
Twisted Pixel originally released Ms. Splosion Man in 2011 to much acclaim. The platformer features 50 levels that can be played alone and another 50 built around multiplayer.
Nintendo has been updating a slew of child’s safety certificates for amiibo over the past few weeks. In other words, the company is gearing up for massive restocks.
Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Little Mac, Bowser, Rosalina and Luma, Shulk, Meta Knight, Wario, Roy, and Cloud (Player 2) have all received a new month of manufacturing. Nintendo posted these updated certificates within the past week. As always, there isn’t a set date for their return, but they’ll likely be showing up again at retailers in the near future.
Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are undoubtedly Nintendo’s biggest games of the year. Sometime after their release, Nintendo could be inclined to share sales figures directly. But early reports indicate that both will be lighting the sales charts on fire.
Speaking with The Verge, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said that the pre-sale trends for Pokemon and Smash Bros. “are tracking to the best we’ve ever seen on Nintendo Switch.” He added, “The consumer engagement through all of our digital activity has been exceptionally strong.”
Ever since Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee were announced, there’s been one uncertainty surrounding the game. Will motion controls be required? Now that people are starting to get their hands on copies, we finally have a concrete answer once and for all.
When playing in portable mode, you’ll be happy to hear that motion controls aren’t required. Both titles are fully playable without needing to use motion controls when catching Pokemon. You can simply press the A button at the right time to have a better chance of success at catching.
Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee continue the trend of Nintendo featuring art and other material inside Switch cases. Many publishers opt to include nothing inside, but that isn’t the case with the Big N. As seen above, buyers are treated to a look at a map of the Kanto region.
