Reports are emerging regarding serious trouble at Telltale, developer of The Walking Dead and Batman adventure games, among others. The company is facing significant layoffs, with some outlets claiming that the company could be closing entirely.
Forbes’ Joe Parlock says that Telltale is seeing “a total closure due to bankruptcy.” Only a “skeleton crew” remains at the company to complete The Walking Dead: The Final Season and will then be shuttered.
We’ve been going back and forth throughout the day as to whether or not we should share this. Essentially, a post surfaced on 4chan earlier today with an image claiming to show a new character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. If you’d like to see the image for yourself, continue on below.
In some parts of the world, the Dark Souls: Remastered has already kicked off. Get a look at some footage in the video below.
It would appear that an animated series based off of the popular action RPG series Diablo is being developed as part of the original programming lineup on Netflix.
As reported by Variety earlier today, news of the project first broke on Wednesday when Boom! Studios founder Andrew Cosby confirmed that he was in the final stages talks surrounding his involvement as the writer and show-runner of the upcoming series about the Blizzard developed game. Cosby is known for his work on the new Hellboy film reboot, leading fans to believe that this upcoming Diablo animated series may follow in the same gory and violent story direction.
At this time, no additional release timetable or production details have been made known. We will continue to report on this story as new information comes out.
Update: We’ve added some photos of Chris’ experience below.
Original: Sometimes we can forget how cruel the world can be. Chris Taylor, who goes by the alias SpookyWoobler on Twitter, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer after battling the disease successfully in the past.
Unfortunately, Chris was told that he only has a few months left to live. He recently expressed fear on Twitter that he won’t make it to the release of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which is still some ways out as it’s planned for an early December launch:
With Dragalia Lost reaching its pre-registration goal of 500,000 users a couple of weeks ago, Nintendo of America has announced that the pre-registration period will now end two days before the official launch of the mobile RPG from Cygames.
This means that prospective players have up until 11:59 PM PT on September 25 to link their Nintendo account to the game early, netting them an in-game gift once it launches. Pre-registration can be completed here.

Tales of Vesperia originally launched for the Xbox 360 around a decade ago. It came to the PlayStation 3 a year later as a Japanese-exclusive release with new content, including a bunch of additional voice work. The west is finally getting everything in the form of Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition.
The one unfortunate aspect here concerns the voice work. For Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, voice actor Troy Baker says he was “never approached to do any additional lines/scenes.” Baker voiced Yuri Lowell, the RPG’s main protagonist, in the original English version.
