Hot off the heels of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door’s launch on Switch, we’re telling how to change music in the game with the Nostalgic Tunes badge.

Although this new version of the RPG is generally rather light on new content, there are a few new additions here and there. One such addition is the option to change the game’s music. The Switch remake has its own remixed soundtrack that plays by default, but by following a few steps you can opt to switch back to the original game’s unaltered music. This comes in the form of the Nostalgic Tunes Badge, which can be equipped or unequipped anytime and doesn’t cost any Badge Points to use.

Palia announced its latest update on Switch, dubbed “Crafted Comforts”, bringing it up to version 0.180.

The update includes new housing options, building blocks, pathways and walkways, friendship level 5 quests, chat bubbles, and black market hotpot. That’s along with other various changes, improvements, and fixes.

Bread & Fred, the rage-inducing co-op platformer from SandCastles Studio and Apogee Entertainment, is back with a launch trailer. The title joined the lineup of games on Switch this week.

Switch has overtaken DS to become the best-selling gaming system ever in Japan. That’s according to the latest data from Famitsu.

Earlier today, the outlet reported that Switch sold another 40,000 units. The console’s overall total now sits at 32,903,701 units. To compare, the DS sold 32,864,129 units total in Japan. Switch secured the record during its 377th week on the market.

Focus Entertainment and Auroch Digital just announced new DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, which goes by the name Forges of Corruption. It’ll start rolling out next month, but the Switch version will be getting the new content later.

The main attractions of the DLC involves new environments, new enemies, and new weapons. Additionally, a new Horde Mode and Navigation Guide are planned for free, and will be distributed via a free update.

Limited Run Games today provided full details about the Switch physical release for Clock Tower: Rewind. This is a remaster of the 1995 survival horror title.

Clock Tower: Rewind will be sold standalone as well as through a collector’s edition. The latter includes extras such as acrylic standees, a clock tower figure, and Dan Barrows stress ball.

June is the month for big gaming events, and it’s now been announced that Devolver Direct 2024 is happening next month. Specifically, it’ll be held on June 7 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET / 1 AM in the UK / 2 AM in Europe. The presentation will run for about 20 minutes.

Devolver says its event will contain “a big hand full of gaming gifts, including updates and release dates for upcoming titles, as well as some exciting new reveals.” The company is celebrating its beloved mascot Volvy’s 15th birthday this time around.
