Mad Mimic Interactive has announced that the 2D castle defense game No Heroes Here is coming to Switch.

No Heroes Here features a single-player mode, co-op support with up to four players, and crafting and platform elements. Below is a quick rundown of the premise:

The Kingdom of Noobland is at war and its heroes are gone. With the death of the last hero, it’s up to the non-heroes to save the Kingdom! Teamwork is key as players must cooperate to craft ammunition, load cannons, and fire upon hordes of enemies to defend castles all across the land. The frantic co-op play is the kind of experience that either builds friendships or crushes them!

The marble shooter Sparkle 2 is heading to the Switch eShop next week, 10tons has announced. The game will be out on September 28 for $7.99.

Here’s an overview of Sparkle 2:

Kotaku editor-in-chief Stephen Totilo reached out to a local New York GameStop yesterday to find out if the store had any Switch units available. Oddly, Totilo was told that he would only be sold the system if he purchased a $50 warranty.

Kotaku editor Cecilia D’Anastasio then called other GameStops and visited a few outlets. Four GameStop locations in New York City did have Switch units in stock, though would only sell them in bundles, which could include just a warranty and a game or a warranty, two games and a case. A number of employees said it was something they “had” to do.
