News about the upcoming Switch game LUNAXXX emerged from this week’s Famitsu a few days ago. Pygmy Studio has since sent out a few images and a small announcement about the project.

You may want to keep an eye on LUNAXXX, as Kenichi Nishi is involved. Nishi was the director of the first Chibi-Robo, not to mention a writer on Nintendo’s Japan-exclusive Wii title Captain Rainbow.

There’s still relatively little information out there about the action game LUNAXXX, though since it’s playable at BitSummit this weekend, hopefully we’ll have more to share soon.

Update: Bumped to the top. The controller and Switch case are now up on Amazon UK. Note that these do not ship to the US, but Amazon Germany is still an option.

Towards the end of next week, Nintendo will be kicking off ARMS Global Testpunch. The demo will let Switch owners try out the game on certain days and times with online matches.

Although ARMS Global Testpunch won’t feature the entire roster, you’ll have several characters to choose from. Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Master Mummy, Ninjara, Mechanica, Min Min, and Helix will be playable. The three new characters announced this week – Kid Cobra, Byte & Barq, and Twintelle – have been left out.

The official Runner3’s devlog has been updated once again with an image that teases what the new world will be about.

This time we have a picture of a cute robot, which means that after Foodland and Spookyland, the next world will probably be based on mechanical stuff. Furthermore, developer Choice Provisions want us to guess the name, so go to their site and leave a comment on what do you think the new Runner3’s world will be called.

De Mambo’s June 29 release date isn’t only for Japan. As it turns out, the game is seeing a worldwide launch in all regions for Switch.

The Dangerous Kitchen just tweeted out today’s news:

Switch will be the first platform to have De Mambo’s Survival Mode. The game will be playable at BitSummit in Japan this weekend.

4J Studios is sending out a new update for Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition. The game’s second patch has wrapped up and is now being delivered to players.

The new update updates two issues and adds in a new DLC pack. We’ve included the full patch notes below.

Activision and Bungie have no plans to make a Switch version of Destiny 2.

IGN asked project lead Mark Noseworthy about the possibility, who initially said Bungie has “no announcements to make about the Switch at this time”. IGN then pressed further and asked if the franchise could eventually end up on Switch.
