Samurai Shodown IV is the latest NeoGeo game to release on the Switch, and Nintendaan has provided footage of the game in action. Check out the samurai fighting action below:
It’s time for the latest Famitsu‘s most wanted games chart. Dragon Quest XI retains its position while Fire Emblem Echoes moves up another spot.
Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between March 30 and April 5.
Original: We missed Aqua Style’s first tweet which says that the demo will be exclusively playable at Reitaisai, so nothing is official regarding a final release. As the actual effort is being put into the project, we would be surprised if something doesn’t happen with the game on Switch down the line.
Original: Touhou Genso Wanderer is coming to Switch, Aqua Style has revealed. The company shared the announcement on its Twitter page.
If all goes well, Touhou Genso Wanderer will be playable at Touhou Game Show 2017 at Tokyo Big Sight on May 7. This is part of a bigger Touhou Project convention, the Reitaisai.
NIS America localized the PS4 and PS Vita versions of Touhou Genso Wanderer last month, but it’s unclear if there are any plans for the Switch version in the west – especially since development isn’t terribly far along. As for the game itself, it’s a roguelike RPG that has players controling Reimu, the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, to investigate the latest incident to take place in the world of Gensokyo.
Here’s a look at the title:
Edmund McMillen, creator of The Binding of Isaac, is asking fans if they’d buy an Isaac amiibo. McMillen put out a poll on Twitter to gauge interest (see it here, has a bit of strong language).
Indies have rarely taken the opportunity to create their own amiibo. Yacht Club Games is the only studio to have taken on the challenge, having created a Shovel Knight figure last year.
Is an Isaac amiibo something you want to see happen? Would you buy one?
Urban Trial Freestyle 2 previously launched in Europe at the end of March. This coming week, North America is also getting the game. A listing on the eShop has it down for April 20 with a $6.99 price point.
If you’re interested in Urban Trial Freestyle 2, keep an eye on our Twitter page. We may have a few codes to hand out very soon…

At the end of last week, we posted several character profiles for ARMS. The game’s Japanese website provided additional information on Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Ninjara, Master Mummy, Min Min, and Mechanica.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has very few restrictions. Even in the opening section, you have a huge area to explore – that being The Great Plateau.
The only limitation is that you need to complete a few tasks before leaving The Great Plateau. Once that’s done, you’ll be given Link’s trusty paraglider. It’s then that you’re free to leave and explore Hyrule to its fullest.
