The latest issue of Nintendo Dream has a feature on Switch. As part of that, the Japanese magazine sent a few questions Nintendo’s way.

One of the topics was about Switch’s name. While many people have thought that its origin comes from “switching” between your television and the dedicated screen on the portable device, there’s more to it than that. By making a console-level game portable, it’s changing the experience of entertainment in players’ daily lives. The “switch” here has a meaning that’s almost closer to “change”.

Original: Level-5 uploaded a couple of new stop-motion commercials for Yo-kai Watch 3. Find them below, along with a making-of video.

Two new Disney themes are out now in Japan, with both following in Europe on Friday. Take a look at footage of the two below.

These themes don’t have a date yet in North America, but Nintendo may have them ready as early as Thursday.

The Pokemon Sun/Moon Steelbook Dual Pack has been sold out even before the two games launched, but it’s now available once again. You can place an order for it here. Note that the package is exclusive to Amazon.

The latest episode of Nintendo’s Japanese show Nyannyan Neko Mario Time has now gone live. We’ve included it below.

A Super Famicom 3DS theme was released in Japan this week as part of a new promotion with the Virtual Console. Footage can be found below.

Plantera is heading soon to Wii U / 3DS, and the video below proves that. 10 minutes of footage is now available from the Wii U eShop version. Expect a release date soon.

Amazon intends to make “a couple exciting announcements” for the NES Classic Edition. One of the retailer’s Twitter account mentioned the news, while adding that consumers can expect to hear something “in the coming week.”

At the very least, it’d make sense if one of these announcements were about a restock. We’ll have to wait and see what Amazon has in store beyond that.
