A few days ago, Nintendo announced that Mario Sports Superstars is making its way to North America on March 24. Europe will be getting the game slightly earlier. Today, Nintendo revealed a release date of March 10 for PAL regions.
Take a look at the updated Mario Sports Superstars boxart for Europe above. Just like North America, an amiibo card is included in first-print copies.

Capcom sent out a wave of details about The Great Ace Attorney 2 today. There are some details about the plot and general setup, though most of the content recaps returning characters and systems. Find the full breakdown below, courtesy of Gematsu’s translation.
Some additional info has come out about Fire Emblem Heroes – from a customer service e-mail, no less. Reddit user SBelmont sent a mail to the Japanese Fire Emblem Heroes customer support, asking about whether or not the game will have one global server and whether or not players will be able to change the language of the in-game text and voices.
According to the response, there will indeed be one global server for all players, so the user base won’t be fragmented and split over multiple servers divided by region or language, as is the case with many mobile games. Players will also have the option to change the language of the in-game text, but aren’t able to change the language of the in-game voices. This was likely done to keep the download size of the game manageable, as audio files are usually quite large.
Fire Emblem Heroes will be released on iOS and Android devices on February 2nd.
Minecraft: Wii U Edition will be undergoing some maintenance next week. Online play will be unavailable during that period. Below are the exact times:
– 4:50 PM PT (January 31) – 6:30 PM PT (January 31)
– 7:50 PM ET (January 31) – 9:30 PM ET (January 31)
– 12:50 AM in the UK (February 1) – 2:30 AM in the UK (February 1)
– 1:50 AM in Europe (February 1) – 3:30 AM in Europe (February 1)
The Pokemon Company announced today that 5,954 people have been banned from certain online activities in Pokemon Sun & Moon due to having altered save data. The banned players can’t use Game Sync and can’t participate in Rating Battles, Battle Competitions and Global Missions. Affected players will get the error code 090-0212 when they attempt to use any of these features.
The Pokemon Company states it will continue to go after players with edited save data and will issue similar bans to them in the future.
Back in July of last year, indie developer Squad announced that Wii U version of their game Kerbal Space Program would be available “this Winter”. Well, we are now in the middle of that Winter, but the game is nowhere to be seen on Wii U. In fact, it looks like the Wii U version might be cancelled for good. Here’s what Squad’s community manager had to say on their official forums on the topic:
“The industry landscape changed since we made that announcement. Although we were excited to release this port, external factors are forcing us to reevaluate if it is the right move for Kerbal Space Program. It is still to soon to give you a definite decision, so we’ll give you more detailed information in the future.”
Still a fairly vague answer and no definitive confirmation that the Wii U version has been cancelled, but it’s seems fairly likely that that is what’s going to happen eventually. We will keep you updated on the matter – perhaps Squad will do what many other developers have done and shift their focus towards a Switch version of the game instead.
