After speculation began that Beyond Good & Evil 2 being in development for Switch surfaced earlier in the year, Ubisoft finally confirmed that the game is happening. Series creator Michel Ancel began to tease the news by sharing various pieces of art created for the project. When asked about why he did that by Kotaku at Indiecade Europe, Ancel explained: “That was not a gimmick but a way to say ‘Look. The game exists and we can do it.'”
Interestingly, Beyond Good & Evil 2 has been in the works since Rayman Legends shipped. But unfortunately, it won’t be complete any time soon. Ancel noted that it needs to be “more concrete” before a proper reveal, but it’s “a very serious development for Ubisoft.”
Speaking with MCV, Atlus CEO Naoto Hiraoka commented briefly on Nintendo’s upcoming console Switch. Hiraoka is keeping quiet on any specific titles that the company may have in store, but said that it’s “making for some interesting potential.
“Our participation as a publisher for the Nintendo Switch has been announced, and while we don’t have any news on that front to share, the device is making for some interesting potential,” he said.

Rumor has it that Pokemon GO will be receiving a major update next month. Based on analysis of the game’s code done by people associated with web scanner PokeVS, 100 new normal and Legendary Pokemon will be added. That’s in addition to the possibility of player-versus-player battles, raising the Pokemon you catch similar to Tamagotchi pets, and trading.
GamesBeat, who reports on today’s story, says it’s unclear if Pokemon GO’s update will be dropped entirely at once over time. However, PokeVS’ before-and-after comparisons of the code indicated where the updates are expected to be implemented. Niantic told GamesBeat that the “Gen 2” is planned as an update, but didn’t share anything further.
Continue on below for the lineup of 100 Pokemon said to be coming to Pokemon GO.

Since last year’s announcement in April, Level-5 has only been showing bits and pieces of The Snack World. The big thing we saw during the reveal was a full-on animated preview with an eight-minute video.
The Snack World’s debuted with Yo-kai Watch the Movie 2 last December. Now Level-5 is readying another animated short that will be shown with the third Yo-kai Watch film on December 12, known as “The Snack World: Hitogirai no Lenny” (The Snack World: Lenny the Misanthrope). It features the character Lenny who has a disliking for people.
Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino is the chief director, and also wrote the original story concept and script. Motonori Sakakibara is the director while Takuz? Nagano is designing the characters. Rei Kondoh is acting as composer. The cast list includes Megumi Han as main character Chup, Ayana Taketatsu as the misanthropic dragon Lenny, and Fumiko Orikasa as Lenny’s mother Flam.
Dragon Ball Fusions debuted in North America a few days ago. Bandai Namco brought it to retail, but as always, you can opt for the digital version. Going with the latter option means you’ll need 4,730 blocks of free space (591.25 MB).
The Nintendo UK store often offers bonuses for those who pre-order games. With Dragon Quest VIII, you’ll receive a free poster by reserving early. You can place an order here.
