Famitsu has an update on Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem this week. Additionally, there’s an interview with some of the game’s developers.
Here’s a brief summary of what was shared in the latest Famitsu:
– Has characters from Fire Emblem: Awakening and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light
– Characters from both games will appear as heroes as well as villains
– Popularity polls and such helped determine the character selection
– Will see the likes of Cain and Abel in the game
– Characters that appeared as enemies in Fire Emblem will appear as enemies in Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem
– The devs say that the main story will take around 30 hours to finish
– There are also side stories and other extras to take on
– This content will apparently amount to another 30 hours
– Game is being balanced and bug-tested
– All content and features are in place

Activision will be unveiling the Skylanders SuperChargers Dark Edition at San Diego Comic-Con, the company announced today.
The Wii U version of the Dark Edition features Dark Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and his Dark Barrel Blaster land vehicle. On Wii, players will be able to obtain Dark Hammer Slam Bowser and his Dark Clown Cruiser sky vehicle. First screenshots of both can be seen below.
Also included in the Skylanders SuperChargers Dark Edition is the Dark Spitfire, Dark Hot Streak, a two-sided ultimate collector poster, and the Kaos Trophy, which is the only way to unlock special Kaos gameplay content. Pricing is set at $99.99.
Activision also shared information today about a new premium toy line coming from Eon’s Elite:
Eon’s Elite is a premium toy line offering fans the ultimate versions of some of the most iconic heroes from the game that started it all, Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure®. Each hero is powered up to three times the normal level and updated with premium decorations, new poses and unique sculpts that represent how they appear in their fully upgraded form. The figures are presented in premium packaging featuring a display case with a 3-D lenticular background, making them truly collectible items. This year’s fan-favorite roster includes Voodood, Zook, Slam Bam, Ghost Roaster, Boomer and Dino-Rang and will be available for a suggested retail price of $19.99. The first wave of Eon’s Elite characters — Slam Bam, Zook and Voodood — are Toys”R”Us exclusives and will be available starting November. The second wave of heroes, Ghost Roaster, Boomer and Dino-Rang, will be available in December.

A listing from the USK, a ratings board in Germany, has outed the existence of Limbo for Wii U. Double Eleven, developer of the PlayStation Vita version, seems to be handling this port as well. An official announcement hasn’t been made yet, but today’s news indicates that we’ll be hearing something pretty soon.
Last week, it was confirmed via a new trailer that Project X Zone 2 was delayed to early 2016 in Europe. Now, Bandai Namco Entertainment America have uploaded that same trailer to their Youtube channel, essentially confirming the delay for North America as well.

Splatoon has been giving players tons of free content since its release back in late May, and the love continues today in North America and tomorrow in Europe as we’ll be receiving some more weapons to add to the already robust selection. What makes a sword earn the classification of an epic weapon? How do you know the sword you wield will help to change the fate of the world? Throughout many franchises across Nintendo’s systems, there have been numerous heroes, each of whom have generally had an epic weapon to aid them in their lofty quest. Whether by their choice or destiny, these heroes have been selected for a task that only they can achieve. Some must complete this task on their own, some guided by a higher power, and some are blessed with companions to help them along the way. But what all of these protagonists have in common is they hold the key to their fates in their hands.
