Amiibo

Walmart has two of the upcoming Yarn Yoshi amiibo up for pre-order. You can reserve the Blue Yoshi and Pink Yoshi. Both have price errors ($13 rather than $16), so you’ll be saving $3!

Over on GameStop’s website, a bunch of the latest amiibo are available. Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, Olimar, and 30th Anniversary Mario Classic can all be ordered.

Nintendo’s Japanese YouTube page has added another Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer commercial, this time focusing on the amiibo cards. We have it below.

A big amiibo restock appears to be in the way to Toys “R” Us. Roughly 26,000 units have been spotted in the retailer’s system for Little Mac, Lucario, and Captain Falcon. The number is even bigger for Villager – 80,000 units. Product should be making their way to Toys “R” Us soon.

Nintendo UK’s online store has opened up pre-orders for the Shovel Knight amiibo. Get yours in here. The figure is being sold for £12.99, and will apparently be available starting on November 27.

A couple of new videos are in for Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash. Below you’ll find an introduction trailer as well as an amiibo-specific clip.

Nintendo has re-dated the second wave of Animal Crossing amiibo cards for Japan. The set will be available starting on October 29.

Previously, the Animal Crossing amiibo card series was scheduled for September 30. Nintendo ended up announcing a delay in early August.

Nintendo uploaded a new video showing amiibo functionality in Picross 3D 2. Watch it below.

Capcom has confirmed that Mega Man Legacy Collection will make use of amiibo on 3DS.

In the 3DS version, there will be ten additional challenges designed by players. A contest is currently being held on Capcom-Unity here to determine which ones will make it into the final game. All of these challenges can be unlocked by using the Mega Man amiibo.

Mega Man Legacy Collection launches on 3DS in Q1 2016.

eBay user “cheetimus_primal” has touched up the 8-bit Mario amiibo by turning it into another character, Wario. It’s actually been sold on the auctions site for $45.99. It’s been awhile since we last posted about a custom amiibo on the site, but this one is rather nice!
