You may recall that Ectoplaza was first shown in Nintendo’s “Spring Partners” video preview earlier in 2016. The indie title is now ready for release, and is heading to North America on Thursday for $7.99. A European version will also follow at some point.

We’ve got the following of Ectoplaza from Syndicate Atomic:

Ectoplaza is a breakneck game about irritable ghosts wreaking havoc on haunted hotels, paranormal guests, and each other.

Join a party of poltergeists as they rampage through underworld-renowned resorts from which they can never escape. Monster mash with up to four players and have the time of your afterlife.

— Choose from six unhappy haunts, each with their own stats and game-changing special abilities.
— Master a multi-tiered charge & fling system to unleash quick chomps, trick shots, and devastating ricochets.
— Smash your way through 5 settings and 15 different levels, each with different stage hazards.
— Be the last ghost standing in Afterlives, collect the most ectoplasm in Collectoplaza, or score the winning goal in Ghostball.

Now that Shantae is out now in Runbow as a DLC/update addition, we have some footage of the new character. Check out a few minutes of gameplay below.

FAST Racing Neo recently added in some new DLC. If you’re in Europe, you can download a patch that address a small issue with the unlock. The problem involved the DLC not being permanently unlocked after purchase, requiring players to revisit the eShop.

FAST Racing Neo’s latest update isn’t live in North America and Japan just yet. However, that should be changing very soon.

Runbow’s latest update is now live. Players can download version 1.3 to play as Shantae as of today. On top of that, 13AM Games implemented a number of new fixes.

In other Runbow news, the Deluxe retail version is now moved to November 1. It’s thankfully a rather small delay.

Head past the break for the full Runbow version 1.3 patch notes.

A new digital title is confirmed for Europe on Wii U this coming week. On Thursday, Sanuk Games’ Solitaire will be up on the eShop beginning on October 27. Pricing is set at €4.99.

At the FACTS 2016 convention in Belgium, MyGamingBoulevard spoke to a couple of developers to ask about potential Switch support.

First up is Larian Studios, the team behind the Divinity series. It’s much too early to say if they’ll be supporting Nintendo’s new platform, but they do seem to be open to the idea. You can hear some brief comments about Switch at the end of the video below.

Another title which might be possible for Switch is Mayan Death Robots, which originally released on Steam last year and is coming to Xbox One soon. While it’s something the developer hadn’t thought about before, he feels that it could be a “perfect fit” on Switch.

Power Disc Slam’s new update is now confirmed for release next Thursday. This will bring the game up to version 1.10.

In North America, the new version will be a standard update. In Europe though, players will need to re-download Power Disc Slam entirely due to an updated USK rating.

Stick it to the Man! studio Zoink Games has confirmed plans to develop for Switch. The team actually already has a dev kit, and has ideas about what sort of project can be made.

Here’s the full notice from community manager Alexandra Dahlberg:

Nintendo’s NX reveal got the gaming community really excited yesterday. And us even more so! Why? Because we’re one of the first to get the chance to develop for the new platform!

Switch, Joy-Con, Zoink. Just 24 hours ago those words together wouldn’t have done much sense – but since Nintendo’s big reveal of what was formerly known as the NX, we hope you think they sound wonderful together. We sure do!

This August Klaus and Hugo went on a trip to visit Nintendo, and they came back to the office with… nothing. They didn’t utter one word regarding anything they’d seen, heard or talked about. Can you imagine how curious the rest of us were?

But now we all know, right? And we have really high hopes for the Nintendo Switch, with its versatility and innovative features. And we promise to work our ***** off to produce a high-quality title for the platform – we’re already on it! The dev kit is in our hands and the ideas in our heads.

We can’t say more about what’s coming right now, but it will be really exciting to let you know more about this project further on.
