Since the official announcement of the Nintendo Switch yesterday, several developers have come out and pledged their support to Nintendo’s latest home console. Today, Shin’en Multimedia, developers of games such as FAST Racing NEO and Nano Assault, have done the same and confirmed via Twitter that they are a Switch developer. This doesn’t come as a huge surprise after they recently said some extremely positive things about their relationship with Nintendo in an interview, but it’s nonetheless nice to know that we’ll see their games on Switch as well.

[Review] Pirate Pop Plus

System: Wii U / New 3DS eShops (reviewed)
Release date: October 20, 2016
Developer: dadako
Publisher 13AM Games
If you’ve ever played Pang, you will understand the basics of Pirate Pop Plus. In an enclosed box you run around on a 2D plane launching an anchor chain and popping bouncing bubbles in an arcade style score attack manner. The biggest differentiator in this spin of the formula is the anti gravity mechanic. As gravity shifts, so does the physics and it provides a surprising opportunity for extra depth and strategy.

Image & Form “seriously considered” multiplayer for SteamWorld Heist
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
SteamWorld Heist nearly had multiplayer. That’s according to Image & Form community manager Julius Guldbog, who said in a Reddit AMA that the functionality was “seriously considered”. Time was the only reason why it wasn’t included in the end.
Guldbog stated:
“We would love multiplayer and seriously considered it for Heist. In the end we ran out of time, simply.”
As another aside, the SteamWorld Heist hat packs are still planned for 3DS. Image & Form “ran into a nasty bug that will take some time to fix since DLC on 3DS didn’t work the way we thought,” though the team will “definitely compensate 3DS owners for the long wait”.
