Fire Emblem Heroes replaces Byleth’s male voice actor following admissions of abuse

Fire Emblem Heroes has replaced the male voice actor of Byleth, and the same could end up happening with Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This all came about after Christopher Niosi, who played the character’s role, admitted to abuse in a lengthy Tumblr post. That can be found in full here.
Niosi was originally featured in a recent trailer for Fire Emblem Heroes. However, the credit disappeared from the character page, and a new trailer has since been uploaded with re-recorded lines and a credit given to Zach Aguilar.
As things stand, Niosi is still featured in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. While some fans think Nintendo may end up replacing him in the Switch game, we’ll have to wait and see if that actually happens.

We first heard that a new Fire Emblem game was in the works for Switch back in January 2017. Today, Fire Emblem: Three Houses has finally launched. Nintendo has celebrated the release with some new art, which you can check out above.

Fire Emblem Heroes: Byleth: Tested Professor now available

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is out today around the world – which also means that a copy of Byleth: Tested Professor can now be claimed in Fire Emblem Heroes by all players who purchased Three Houses. If you use the same Nintendo Account on both the Nintendo Switch you bought Three Houses and in Fire Emblem Heroes, you simply need to claim your Gold Points for your purchase. This is done automatically if you bought the digital version; if you bought the physical version, you need to do this manually via the game’s menu on the Switch home screen. Shortly after claiming your Gold Points, you should find a copy of Byleth: Tested Professor in your in-game present list in Fire Emblem Heroes.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses update out now (version 1.0.1)

A day-one update for Fire Emblem: Three Houses is now available. Nintendo has issued version 1.0.1, so those who have access to the game already should be able to download the patch.
As for what the update entails, one added element is the “Additional Contents” link on the title screen in which players can access the eShop. Also, the protagonist’s outfit can be changed in your room, which is reflected in the Monastery and battles. Those who purchase the Expansion Pass can put on the Officers Academy Uniform. Lastly, Nintendo says: “Several issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.”

Yet more Fire Emblem: Three Houses content has arrived in Fire Emblem Heroes. A new Tap Battle: Illusory Dungeon is available from today till August 15. It features music from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, including its main theme. As always, the first 40 floors are unlocked today, with 20 more being added each day until Sunday.
Also, since it’s Thursday, Tactics Drills has been updated. Two maps have been added to Skill Studies – “Three Houses 1” and “Three Houses 2”. Clearing them gets you 300 feathers each.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses to add Lunatic difficulty after launch as a free update

Like other Fire Emblem games, Three Houses will include a few different difficulty levels and settings. Lunatic won’t be available right away, but it’s confirmed that it’ll be coming later on.
Genki Yokota, the director for Fire Emblem: Three Houses at Nintendo, shared the news in an interview with Famitsu this week. Players will be able to access the Lunatic difficulty following a free patch shortly after launch. This will provide an extra challenge for experienced players. He said, “please wait just a little bit [for the update].”
