Bravely Second has a magic academy

Reports emerging from Japan reveal that Bravely Second will include some kind of magic academy. The prime minister of Lakrika ordered the academy to be built, which is said to be a full town or city. Its location is on the continent of Nadarakes.
Scholars and students from different regions visit the academy to explore and debate new magical theories… and learn a few things as well. The academy is also where new forms of systems and magic are being developed.

Arc System Works recently shared a new batch of screenshots and information for Swords & Darkness. The game’s latest content is posted bvelow.
– Moves include whirlwind and uppercut attacks
– Some faux 3D, with one piece showing your protagonist running up a circular staircase
– Part-RPG
– Talk to some survivors and level up
– Allocate skill points in up to 10 different stats including weight
– Can equip different kinds of gear
– Story: war had been waged just before the start of the game between the kingdom of Athelstern and another
– In order to save themselves, the king of Athelstern incanted a spell from the Vessel of Life, resurrecting his dead soldiers and granting them new strength
– With such power, the kingdom was saved… but at a heavy price
– Game begins with the king having lost his mind (the curse of using such powers beyond mortal ken)
– King and his resurrected troops jealously guard the castle and the now hatred-filled king
– To end that madness and return the kingdom to its rightful, peaceful ways, you must go forth to kill the king, or save him if you can
– Out on December 18 in Japan
– 900 yen

– Game seems to incorporate a pay-for-items model
– Screenshots show two different bars including a gasoline line

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call – new characters confirmed and more

The latest issue of V-Jump confirms several new characters for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. Zach from Final Fantasy VII, Y’shtola from Final Fantasy XIV, plus Yuna, Rikku, and Paine from Final Fantasy X-2, and a second version of Lightning from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy will be included. Each character can be unlocked by collecting crystal fragments.
V-Jump also reveals a new track for Curtain Call – Advent: One Winged Angel from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
Lastly, the game will include a search function so that players can look for songs by name and create a playlist of favorite tunes.
