Merge Games

Although Streets of Rage 4 already made it to retail, Merge Games is working on a new boxed version. The upcoming Anniversary Edition includes the main game and Mr. X Nightmare DLC. You can check out the boxart above.

The Streets of Rage 4 Anniversary Edition is planned for September 24. Pre-orders are open on Amazon and Best Buy. Those in the UK can reserve it here.

Ultimate Chicken Horse

Today, Merge Games announced a new partnership with Clever Endeavour Games. The two sides will be releasing a physical version of Ultimate Chicken Horse on Switch for the first time.

The Ultimate Chicken Horse “A-Neigh-Versary” Edition includes the game and extra goodies. Buyers will receive a chicken keyring, a digital soundtrack code, and an Ultimate Chicken Horse Compendium booklet which will help players keep track of all their unlocked characters, outfits and levels as they play. It contains all of the currently available Ultimate Chicken Horse updates on the game cart, including: Elephantastic, Chimply Amazing, Transformidable and the A-cobra-tic updates.

The physical version of Ultimate Chicken Horse is planned for October.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX

Merge Games has prepared a new Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX launch trailer in celebration of today’s release. We’ve attached the video below.

Deathrun TV

Merge Games and Laser Dog announced today that they’re bringing Deathrun TV to Switch. At least for now, there’s no word on a release window.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX is releasing slightly earlier than expected. Rather than June 24, the game will now launch on June 22.

Monster Harvest

The farming game Monster Harvest has been delayed for a second time. It will now release on August 19, Merge Games and Maple Powered Games have confirmed. That applies to both the physical and digital versions.

According to Merge Games, the latest delay will allow the team to include support for Latin America and Eastern Europe. Further polish will be implemented as well.

Kerry Vandenberg, joint owner of Maple Powered Games, said in a statement:

Buildings Have Feelings Too!

Merge Games and Blackstaff Games have issued a new update for Buildings Have Feelings Too!, a new city-management/puzzle title. It’s now at version 1.0.2.

The new update contains a slew of adjustments as well as fixes. We’ve posted the full patch notes below.

Foreclosed

Merge Games and Antab Studio have dated the cyberpunk action shooter Foreclosed. The title will be available for Switch both physically and digitally on August 12, the two companies confirmed today.

Buildings Have Feelings Too!, a city-management/puzzle game about buildings and the city they inhabit, has finally landed on Switch. We have a new launch trailer below.

Monster Harvest

Monster Harvest won’t be launching in May as originally expected. It will now release digitally on July 8, with a physical version to follow on July 20 in North America and July 23 in Europe.
