Disgaea series surpasses five million copies sold, franchise will continue

In a video message today, Nippon Ichi Software president Sohei Niikawa announced that the Disgaea series has surpassed a total five million copies sold. Additionally, there are plans to continue the series. The company hopes to consider feedback stemming from Disgaea 6 for the future.

NIS America, in partnership with Regista, today announced that it will publish Labyrinth Legend in North America and Europe. The action RPG is slated for Spring 2022 in the west. Previously, it landed in Japan this past January.

Shadow Corridor coming west in October

A couple of years ago, Regista released the action horror game Shadow Corridor on Switch. NIS America has now announced that it picked up the game for the west. It’s heading to both North America and Europe next month.

Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 1 launch trailer

Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 1 is out today with a pack of two RPGs landing on Switch. Along with Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle Remastered, Switch has also received Soul Nomad & the World Eaters. The titles come with upscaled artwork and all DLC from the original releases.

Mad Rat Dead’s big update, which was previously made available in Japan, is now releasing in the west. NIS America announced today that version 1.02 goes live later today.
