Update (3/27): Pre-orders open on GameStop (thanks Jake).

Pre-orders for Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight have gone live – at least at one retailer. You can currently reserve a copy over at Amazon. When other retailers begin taking pre-orders, we’ll update this post.

It’s anybody’s guess as to when we’ll be seeing the Nintendo NX. It could be next year. There’s a good chance that it will be later than that.

Still, that hasn’t stopped EB Games Australia from jumping the gun with in-store pre-orders. I have no clue why anyone would plop down a reservation right now, but it is what it is!

Update 3: (3/17/15) Pre-orders are finally back up on Amazon. Wii U version here, 3DS version here.

Update 2 (3/6/15): Pre-orders are now up on Best Buy (thanks Jake). Wii U version here, 3DS version here.

Update (3/5/15): About a day after we posted about Amazon’s pre-orders, the listings were pulled. They’re not back up, so I can’t say for sure what’s going on.

You can at least pre-order from GameStop, as the retailer’s listings are now live. Wii U’s product page is here while the 3DS one is located here. First print copies of the Wii U version come with the Wii game, which was Yuji Naka’s original vision.

Pre-orders for Rodea: The Sky Soldier are now live on Amazon. You can reserve the Wii U version here and 3DS edition here (disregard the boxart on the page).

NIS America announced Rodea: The Sky Soldier for localization late last week. The game is launching this fall in both North America and Europe.

Walmart opened online pre-orders for the gold Mario amiibo last week. However, in just a few minutes, reservations sold out. If you’re one of the people who missed out on the pre-orders, there’s no need to panic… yet.

Nintendo said on its Facebook page today that Walmart’s pre-orders “represent just a small fraction of product made available in advance of the launch.” Consumers will still be able to find gold Mario at Walmart stores.

The Nintendo UK store has started taking pre-orders for the Zelda-themed New 3DS cover plates. You can find the general Zelda face plate here, and the Majora’s Mask one here. Both will be releasing in the UK on March 6, apparently!
