The official Puyo Puyo Tetris Twitter account recently announced that pre-orders of the Switch physical version of Puyo Puyo Tetris will come with a keychain of the Puyo and Tetrimino characters. You can see the tweet for yourself below.

 


 

Some folks may have missed a noteworthy tidbit about Puyo Puyo Tetris’ pricing from last week’s announcement. At retail, the game will be $40. If you choose to go with the digital version, however, it’ll only be $30.

I personally prefer physical myself, especially in this case. Puyo Puyo Tetris is a “special launch edition” that “will only be available in quantities limited to pre-orders and first-run printings of the game in the Americas.”

Switch is getting not one, but two Sonic games this year. Aside from Project Sonic 2017, Sonic Mania is also coming to the system.

You might be interested to hear that Tantalus is working to bring Sonic Mania to Switch. That’s the same studio behind Zelda: Twilight Princess HD as well as Deux Ex: Human Revolution and Mass Effect 3 on Wii U.

SEGA 3D Fukkoku Archives 3: Final Stage shipped in Japan this week. To mark the game’s launch, Famitsu caught up with developers Yosuke Okunari and Kagasei Shimomura for an interview.

During the short discussion, Okunari and Shimomura explain how they settled on the games to include for the latest collection. The two also commented on the additions of Alien Syndrome and Columns as well as why the two bonus games were chosen. If that wasn’t enough, Shimomura left the door open to returning to SEGA 3D Classics in the future.

SEGA 3D Fukkoku Archives 3: Final Stage has launched in Japan. Like almost every 3DS game, there’s now a relevant Miiverse community for the release.

Siliconera came across something interesting with the new forum. You’ll notice that once you load up the page, it actually shows as SEGA 3D Classics Collection 2.

SEGA 3D Classics Collection made it to North America earlier this year, and Europe last month. This doesn’t confirm localization of the new package, but it does give us some hope.
