The DioField Chronicle won’t be available for another week, but Square Enix has readied a launch trailer. Currently it’s only been published in Japanese – we’ll update this post if an English counterpart goes live.

NieR: Automata Amusement Park

NieR: Automata has received its second world trailer for the Switch version that introduces the Amusement Park. Although the area once brought happiness and joy to mankind, it’s now occupied by harmless machine lifeforms. Square Enix mentions how they’re found dancing and throwing confetti in their carnival attire.

PowerWash Simulator

Square Enix announced a slew of new Switch games this week, and the pattern continues with PowerWash Simulator.

The soothing sim title, developed by FuturLab, launched this past summer on Xbox platforms and PC. The power of relaxation is placed into the hands of players, and they can unlock new tools and upgrades to help clean more efficiently.

Dragon Quest Treasures TGS 2022

At the 2022 Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix debuted a new trailer for Dragon Quest Treasures. Fans can get a new look at the RPG treasure hunting adventure title.

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai

Square Enix is developing Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai for Switch, the company has confirmed.

The game is an action RPG that was first announced in 2020. It’ll let players live through the story of the anime series, The Adventure of Dai. Visuals combine art from the anime and manga.

Octopath Traveler II was just announced during yesterday’s Direct, leaving many fans craving for more details. It seems Square Enix is ready to deliver with a bit more information about the game, as they’re set to host a one hour-long livestreamed event for it through TGS 2022.

This livestream will take place on Saturday, September 17 at 5 PM JST / 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST. Beyond featuring new gameplay for the title, the game’s director (Keisuke Miyauchi), producer (Masashi Takahashi) and composer (Yasunori Nishiki) will also appear to discuss the game’s HD-2D visuals, its eight new main characters, new gameplay systems and more.

Various Daylife gameplay

Gameplay has come in for Various Daylife on Switch. Square Enix not announced the game for Nintendo’s console today, but released it as well.

Octopath Traveler II Collector's Edition

Square Enix unveiled Octopath Traveler II today, and while it will be sold at retail, a special Collector’s Edition Set will be offered as well. It will only be sold via the company’s online store.

The package includes a copy of the game, a 44-page art album containing package art, world maps, and illustrations, mini soundtrack featuring 24 variations of Extended Battle Tracks with unique intro melodies for each of the eight protagonists, and bust set depicting the eight travelers. Keep in mind that the game won’t be packed inside the Collector’s Goods Box, but all items will ship together.
