Dragon Quest X Offline delayed

Today, Square Enix has announced that it has delayed the launch of Dragon Quest X Offline in Japan. Originally scheduled for February 26, 2022 in Japan, the RPG has now moved to the summer. A specific date beyond that was not confirmed.
Producer Takuma Shiraishi issued a statement about the situation, explaining that Square Enix is looking to deliver the highest quality experience. The team will be using the extra time for polish. Shiraishi also apologized to those that have been looking forward to the game.

NEO: The World Ends with You producer Tomohiko Hirano has commented on the future of the series, and has indicated that there currently are no plans for a new game.
Hirano shared that information as part of an interview with PCInvasion. While he shot down any hopes of an immediate sequel, he did point out that there are still areas of Shibuya that have yet to be recreated, and perhaps a new title could be made with enough fan support.

Square Enix has announced a new sales milestone for Bravely Default II. On Twitter, the company confirmed that combined shipments and digital sales of the RPG have surpassed one million copies.

Voice of Cards update out now on Switch, adds High Speed mode

Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars has received a new update on Switch, and it’s brought along some new functionality. After installing the patch, players will have access to a new High Speed mode.
To enable the new mode, simply head on over to options, then “Game Setting”, and make sure that Game Speed is set to “High Speed”. Of course, you can always revert back to “Normal” later.
Square Enix hosting December 2021 Switch eShop sale

A new December 2021 Square Enix sale has started up on the Switch eShop, and it includes first discounts for games such as Actraiser Renaissance, Dungeon Encounters, Marvel’s Guardian’s of the Galaxy: Cloud Version, and Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars. Other classics are included as well with Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Mana.

Chocobo GP gets release date, free Lite version, new trailer

Chocobo GP now has a release date on Switch, and a Lite version has been revealed. The racer will launch on March 10, 2022, Square Enix confirmed today.
A free-to-download version of the game, titled Chocobo GP Lite, will be available at launch. Here racers can play through the Story Mode prologue in single player mode and can participate in both local and online multiplayer races with up to eight racers, if hosted by a friend with the full version of the game. Moreover, Chocobo GP Lite players can test out the fast-paced 64-player tournaments in Chocobo GP mode. Save data can be carried over from Chocobo GP Lite to the full game.
