Many characters have been rumored for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as DLC fighters, which have been perpetuated by internet speculation. Doom Slayer from the Doom series is one such representative that some have wondered about possibly ending up in the Switch game.

Similar to Sans from Undertale, Cuphead’s DLC isn’t just limited to a costume. Players will also receive the music track Floral Fury.

Fans have long been wondering which character will be closing out the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Pass. During a presentation with director Masahiro Sakurai today, that question was finally answered.

Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is joining the roster. It’s not that alone, as the character will be available in both male and female forms.

Byleth is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on January 28.

Today’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation with director Masahiro Sakurai will be starting soon. The live stream kicks off at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.

As Nintendo has said earlier in the week, the new video will introduce the next DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Sakurai will be presenting the news in a 35-minute rundown.

You can watch the stream as it happens below. We’ll be sure to report back on all of the big news as it happens.
