Doom, Doom II updates out now (version 1.0.4)

Major updates are now available for Doom and Doom II on Switch. Both are now at version 1.0.4.
After installing the update, players can access a new add-ons section in the main menu. The TNT Evilution and The Plutonia Experiment can then be accessed, along with SIGIL which was created by John Romero as a celebration of the game’s 25th Anniversary.
Aside from the add-ons, Bethesda has enabled locked 60 frames per second, aspect ratio options, and more.

Pokemon Sword/Shield update out now (version 1.1.0)

A new update just went live for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. All players can access version 1.1.0.
After installing the update, you’ll be able to encounter a Galarian Slowpoke that’s wandered in from the Isle of Armor. You can catch the Pokemon, and it can evolve into Galarian Slowbro if you use an item found on the Isle of Armor or Galarian Slowking if you use an item found in the Crown Tundra.
Be sure to visit Wedgehurst Station so that you can have your short at capturing Slowpoke.

Blaster Master Zero 2 version 1.3.1 out now

Blaster Master Zero 2 has been updated to version 1.3.1. Here’s what’s changed in this fairly minor update:
- fixes various issues in the base game
- fixes various issues regarding the DLC character “Copen”
- fixes errors in the game’s text

A new update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now available. Version 6.1.1 is live, which implements support for the Dark Samus and Richter amiibo.
You’ll need today’s update in order to access the online mode. Replay data works with version 6.1.0, but not version 6.0.0 and earlier.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD – version 1.0.3 now available

SEGA released a new update for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD today, bringing the game up to version 1.0.3. Here’s what this update entails:

God Eater 3 version 2.30 update coming on January 16, 2020

The next update for God Eater 3 is coming very soon. Version 2.30, which features more background music for the jukebox, an additional episode, and more, is slated for January 16, 2020.

Bloodstained’s next Switch update planned for January, more modes in the pipeline

Switch owners should soon be able to access a new patch for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Version 1.04 is planned for January, and will include all improvements from version 1.03.
Fans can also look forward to more content as well. The developers are working on Zangetsu and two new modes – one of which is Boss Revenge. There are also more modes and an additional playable character on the way. 505 Games and ArtPlay say they intend to “have a regular cadence of content once all the platforms are on the same level of content.” More news will be shared in 2020.
