Publisher Wired Productions and developer Caged Element today announced that a massive update will be made available for GRIP: Combat Racing on Switch this month. Four free new tracks will be added along with the introduction of Team Racing and Deathmatch, and more.

The Game Bakers has announced that a notable “Freedom” update is now available for Freedom on Switch. It adds an Inc vincible mode, the ability to speedrun the game in Furier (hard) difficulty, alternate control scheme, and fixes.

Inti Creates has issued another patch for Dragon Marked for Death. Version 2.0.1 is out now, which addresses a number of fixes from the last major update.

Tetris 99

Original (4/2): It’s been a busy night of updates for Nintendo games. Aside from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 2, there’s also a new patch for Tetris 99.

Nintendo has yet to publish the official patch notes for Tetris 99 version 1.2.0. However, fans have noticed a new win screen, a disclaimer before you play online, and hard drop settings.

Original (4/2): The 4.6.0 update for Splatoon 2, which was announced last weekend, is now available to download.

The full patch notes have yet to be published online. However, we do know that new weapons from Sheldon’s Picks have been added in. We’ll update this post when we have more details.

As first discovered earlier today, Nintendo has updated Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Version 2.0.2 is out now.

According to an in-game notice, support has been added for the Daisy, Young Link, and Ken amiibo figures. You’ll need the patch in order to participate in online play. Replay compatibility is supported with version 2.0.1 and version 2.0.0, but not 1.2.1 and earlier.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players are all waiting for the 3.0.0 update. This was announced during the last Nintendo Direct, but has yet to be properly detailed. We do know it’ll be out sometime this spring.

Before that big update, a smaller patch will be issued. It’s been confirmed that Nintendo will be sending out version 2.0.2 tonight. No word yet on what’s included, but we’ll let you know when we have further information.
