Pokemon GO

A new update is going out for Pokemon GO. Players should soon see version 1.43.1 on iOS, or version 0.73.1 on Android.

The latest update does add a couple of things, like the option to spin the Photo Disc at a Gym using Pokemon GO Plus. You can also see the number of Trainers entered / preparing for a Raid Battle before using a Raid Pass.

The full patch notes for Pokemon GO are below:

  • Added the ability for Trainers to spin the Photo Disc at a Gym using the Pokémon GO Plus accessory.
  • Added the ability to view the number of Trainers entered, and preparing, for a Raid Battle before using a Raid Pass.
  • Improved Pokémon Collection screen search functionality by allowing Trainers to search through their Pokémon’s moves using the @ character.
  • Resolved a bug which caused the Raid Boss to always break free from the last Premier Ball.
  • Resolved a bug that prevented Trainers from seeing they’d received double XP from Raid Battles when using a Lucky Egg.
  • Various bug fixes.

If you’ve purchased Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, you may have noticed that an update is already available. Ubisoft did indeed prepare a day one update for the game.

Those curious about what the update does can read up on the full patch notes below. Ubisoft made a number of improvements and changes to the game, some of which are more significant than others.

A new update has been sent out for Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. All players should have access to the patch, which is version 1.03c.

Voez

A new update is going out for the Switch eShop game Voez. Once applied, players will have access to twelve new songs.

A new update is out now for Pokemon Duel, though it’s small in nature. The latest patch addresses a few unspecified bugs. If you’ve downloaded the game, you can update to version 4.0.1.

Splatoon 2 will be undergoing maintenance tonight. Following the downtime, players will be able to download a new patch – version 1.2.0.

The maintenance period will take place during the following times:

– 6:50 PM PT – 8:30 PM PT
– 9:50 PM ET – 11:30 PM ET
– 2:50 AM in the UK – 4:30 AM in the UK
– 3:30 AM in Europe – 5:30 AM in Europe

Full patch notes for Splatoon 2 version 1.2.0 are as follows:

A new update for Death Squared has started distribution. Version 1.1.0 is out now for all players.

We had heard that there was an issue with Death Squared when playing level 65 while the system was docked. Today’s update should take care of that problem.

Level-5 has been teasing the new version of Yo-kai Watch 3 with new trailers and commercials as of late. Today, the company announced a final release date. The update drops in Japan on August 30.

All versions of Yo-kai Watch will be receiving new yo-kai. Additional creatures will also be added to the game’s Busters T mode.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Nintendo has started distribution of another update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Players with access to the game can download version 1.2.1.

Today’s update specifically addresses one particular problem. The single patch note from Nintendo states, “Corrected an issue that prolonged the time to return to the lobby after races near the start and end times of online tournaments.”

And that’s it. Nothing too huge, but it’s always good to see issues being addressed.
