The latest update has been released for Everdream Valley, bringing the game up to version 1.5. This adds quite a few enhancements to the gameplay, including the ability to instantly cook recipes, more convenient animal interaction, and more easily accessible produce. Bethesda’s new version of Quake II just started distribution of a new update, and it’s live on Switch.
The patch includes quality of life improvements, balance changes, and notable bug fixes. Much of what’s been done here is based on player feedback.

Gravity Circuit update adds Speedrun Mode and more

Gravity Circuit just received a new version 1.0.8 update, and it’s highlighted by a brand new Speedrun Mode.
The mode can be unlocked with a special cheat code and lets players “skip various cutscenes and interactions for a smoother gameplay experience.” Also now available is loadout customization, a Training Room, and more.

Lunistice got its latest update on Switch, and version 1.05b is available now. With the patch, it’s now in line with the current PC version.
One notable highlight here is a “Smooth Camera” option intended to address motion sickness that some players may have experienced. A number of balance adjustments and fixes are implemented as well.

Tracks: Toybox Edition was recently given what’s described as a “massive” content update on Switch.
Content additions relate to the tram, cab toys, and utility poles – plus there are new decorations. A number of other changes have also been implemented, including technical improvements.

We’ve got a heads up for Potion Permit players, as a new version 1.3 update just went live. Players can get their hands on a bunch of additional content for the game.
Potion Permit added new romanceable characters, new sidequests, new mini-games, new events, and more. Plus, many adjustments and bug fixes were implemented.

Sonic Frontiers getting The Final Horizon update in September

Original (8/22): SEGA will release The Final Horizon update for Sonic Frontiers in September, the company just announced. It will be available for all players on September 28, 2023.
A brand new story will be included in the DLC. Also, aside from Sonic, you’ll be able to play as Tails, Knuckles, and Amy.

Stardew Valley getting version 1.6 update with new content

Original (7/17): It turns out that ConcernedApe isn’t done with Stardew Valley, and the game is going to be receiving another round of new content as part of version 1.6.
Technically this isn’t the first time that we’re hearing about this. ConcernedApe did confirm plans for version 1.6 in April, but mainly said it’s “changes for modders” and that there would be “much less” content than version 1.5.

Trombone Champ update out now on Switch (version 1.21A), patch notes

Not long after its recent Switch debut, Trombone Champ has now been given a new version 1.21A update. Players should see that reflected on the title screen once installed.
Two new tracks have been added, meaning the Switch version is now in line with the PC and Mac release. A bunch of improvements have also been implemented and a few different bugs have been taken care of.
Pikmin 4 update out now (version 1.0.2), patch notes

A new update has just gone out for Pikmin 4, with Nintendo starting distribution of version 1.0.2.
Several different bug fixes have been addressed here. With some of these, Nintendo advises downloading the patch and reloading save data. Also, Nintendo added in a progress bar to loading screens.
