March 27: Today, Marvelous announced Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar for Nintendo Switch. This one is planned for August 27, 2025.
Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar takes inspiration from the original Nintendo DS handheld release. For this game, Marvelous says it “expands on the content and feature set of the original, while modernizing the visuals and design, leaning into the title’s focus on the theme of ‘renewal’ as players set out to revitalize Zephyr Town’s bazaar and return it to its world-famous glory.”
Tons of information can be found in the following rundown:

We don’t have specific date as of now for Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders, but new information from one of France’s biggest retailers has provided interesting insight. New information was shared as part of an interview with Frandroid.
First, regarding hardware, we’re hearing that hardware sales are at a historical level. Unsurprisingly, the Mario Kart World bundle is extremely popular. Consumers can save a decent amount of cash by picking up that package as opposed to purchasing the system and game separately.
Nintendo suing man who streamed leaked Nintendo Switch games

November 8: Nintendo has been known to take game piracy very seriously, and yet another example of that is now happening with the company’s lawsuit against a streamer.
The heart of the case involves Jesse Keighin – also known as EveryGameGuru – who is claimed to have streamed pirated and emulated Nintendo Switch games, including some prior to launch. Matters were made worse when Keighin continued his actions even after his channels were shut down, informed his audience about how to pirate games, and teased the company. Nintendo said in its lawsuit: “On October 24, 2024, after certain platforms had taken down his unlawful streams as a result of Nintendo’s enforcement actions, he sent Nintendo a letter boasting that he has ‘a thousand burner channels’ to stream from and [he] ‘can do this all day.'”

Nintendo isn’t retiring Diddy Kong and here’s why
Posted on 1 month ago by Ethan in Features, General Nintendo | 0 comments
There have been some scattered claims going around lately saying that Nintendo is phasing out Diddy Kong, for one reason or another. If you have no idea what we’re talking about, that’s completely understandable. This claim is mostly attributed to the dormancy of the Donkey Kong franchise during the Nintendo Switch era – indeed, the only two DK games released there were Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD – both ports. Combine this with Diddy Kong’s absence from prominent Mario spin-off games like Mario Party and Mario Golf, and you can (sort of) see how claims like these surfaced. We don’t think it’s true, however – just because Diddy Kong hasn’t appeared very often lately doesn’t mean Nintendo is throwing him by the wayside. So today, we’re analyzing all of his recent game and media appearances to explain why he isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Posted on 1 month ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Let's Talk, Switch 2 | 0 comments
We’ve seen a few Nintendo Directs over the last few weeks. Another one aired a couple of days ago, which focused entirely on Mario Kart World. The 15-minute presentation went over various modes, features, and more.
A good amount of the broadcast did go over information that was previously announced. However, we did get a look at a number of things, including tracks, items, Battle Mode, Free Roam, and more. You can catch up on all of the details here.
How are you feeling about Mario Kart World after this week’s Nintendo Direct? Are you planning on picking it up alongside Nintendo Switch 2 at the start of June? Let us know in the comments.

More of the worst Shiny Pokemon of all time
Posted on 1 month ago by Ethan in 3DS, Features, GBA, Switch | 0 comments
A few months back, we covered some of the worst Shiny Pokemon of all time. Most of the time, they’re considered poor because they’re barely different from the original. But we only listed about 20 Shiny Pokemon there, and today we’ve got a fresh batch of even more horrible Shiny Pokemon. This is a subjective list, of course, but we’ll try to keep it as objective as possible – especially in cases where the Shiny form looks almost identical to the original.
