Dark fantasy tactical RPG Redemption Reapers announced for Switch

Original (12/12): Today, publisher Binary Haze Interactive and developer Adglobe revealed Redemption Reapers. The game is heading to Switch in February 2023.
Redemption Reapers is a dark fantasy tactical RPG. Some top-tier talent is on board for the project, including tactical RPG veteran Masayuki Horikawa (Fire Emblem series director and scenario / level designer; Kingdom Hearts III planning). The voice cast includes Kyle McCarley (13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, NieR: Automata), Allegra Clark (Apex Legends, Dragon Age: Inquisition), David Lodge (Persona 5, Final Fantasy XV), and Lucien Dodge (Fire Emblem: Three Houses, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series).

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak digital event planned for February 1

Capcom has provided details for the next Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak digital event. Due to take place on February 1 at 3PM PST/11PM GMT, it will be narrated by Bahari the Scientist, and will include details on the release date of the next free title update, including new monsters to be added to the game, and the roadmap beyond. A release date has been announced for GoldenEye 007 on Nintendo Switch Online. The N64 classic is now confirmed to be launching on January 27, 2023. It’ll be offered to all members as part of the Expansion Pack tier.
GoldenEye 007 was previously announced for Switch last September. That news was shared during a Nintendo Direct.

Dokapon Kingdom: Connect confirms English western release

Original (1/19): Idea Factory just confirmed that Dokapon Kingdom: Connect will be released in English in the west. Fans in North America and Europe can pick up the title this spring.
Dokapon Kingdom: Connect was revealed for Switch earlier in the week. Although it was only announced for Japan at the time, an overseas launch was thought to be happening as a rating for the game previously leaked in Germany.
SteamWorld Build revealed, coming to Switch in 2023

Thunderful today unveiled SteamWorld Build, “a multi-level city-building experience that tasks you with constructing a thriving town above ground, while mining resources and dealing with monsters below.” It will debut on Switch later in 2023.

Life is Strange 2 coming to Switch

Square Enix will soon be publishing Life is Strange 2 on Switch, the company just announced. The game is due out on February 2, 2023.
With the upcoming release, all of the Life is Strange games will be available on Nintendo’s console. Life is Strange: True Colors launched in December 2021, followed by Life is Strange Remastered Collection in September 2022. The latter includes updated versions of the original Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm.
